Ryuu pov:
The non-regulars still have a long way to go. I stared at the mountain of non-regulars who were pretty much dead.
What happened 10 minutes ago:
Arai was standing in front of a small girl. He said, "This isn't a place for a girl, newbie. We'll hold back, though, because Tezuka-buchou told us to play against you."
The girl's face changed. She was emotionless as she said, "So you will apparently 'go easy' on me just because I'm a girl, huh. Well, you can decide whether or not to do that, AFTER you've beaten me."
She got her tennis bag and took out her icy blue racquet. Her face only held a cold, emotionless stare as both players entered the courts.
"Which?" the girl asked.
"Rough,"said Arai.
The girl spun her racquet and it fell on smooth.
The girl smirked and muttered, "Heh. I will make you regret everything."
She got ready to serve. Threw the ball up and hit it. The ball went over to the other side and bounced up towards Arai's face. He barely dodged it.
The tennis club members watching were amazed at how the girl used the Twist Serve to start out the game.
One person was writing down all the data he sees. (Maan, I wonder who it is >.>)
The girl continued serving the 'Twist Serve' for her service games, but the speed increased every time she served.
The game ended in a minute with the score of 6-0 in favor of the girl.
Most non-regulars were shocked to see Arai defeated and kneeling on the ground, sweating like he just ran a marathon.
The girl stared at them all and said, "Now, come at me if you still think you'll win me."
Some boys bravely attempted to go against her but failed as she was too strong for them. Other boys forfeited the match immediately.
Back to da present:
I stared at the non-regulars and said, "That's why don't assume I'm weak just because I'm a girl."
I saw Ryuuzaki baa-san outside the courts and went up to her. She told me, "You did a good job, Ryuu. Next, you're going up against Eiji."
"Okay."
I just went back to the tennis courts without resting. I don't even need any rest anyways.
"The match between Echizen Ryuu and Kikumaru Eiji will now commence."
We both went up to the net and shook hands. I took my tennis racquet and asked, "Which?"
"I choose rough, nya."
I spun the racquet...it landed on rough.
He served a regular ball and I sent it back. It's too early to be using any special moves. However, I wonder if he can keep up with my speed.
"Game Echizen. 3 games to love."
He seemed able to keep up with the ball so far. His skills are great for doubles but his stamina is the main problem. I can see from here that he is out of breath and sweating a bit.
"Nanjara hoi hoi," he said.
"Eh?" Does that mean anything or is he just getting serious?
I served a regular serve and he hit it back this time. Heh, this is interesting. I decided to check his skills and hit back at a high speed.
