Enrolling In Seigaku

Ryuu pov:

Haa....

I'm standing outside the principal's office while waiting for my test results. For a placement test, it was pretty basic.

The principal called me in. I went inside and he told me to take a seat. He had a serious face.

The principal told me, "I took a look through your test results and..."

I wonder if I failed or something.

"...I decided to put you in the 3rd year classes."

"Ah. So the 3rd year classes... WAIT WHAT?!"

He started laughing at my reaction. I asked him, "Why am I with the 3rd years when I'm a freshman?"

He answered me by saying, "Well, your scores were over the top and the faculty and I decided that it would be too much of a waste to put you in with the 1st years. Therefore, you will have classes with the 3rd years in class 3-2."

Here I thought it wouldn't get any weirder. I was wrong. Oh, I was so wrong.

I got my schedule and went to my class. The teacher told me to wait until she calls me in. She was informing the students about me.

It took a bit of time until I heard her say, "You can come in now."

I went in and so many boys were staring at me with slightly pink faces. I wonder if they caught a cold.

I stood next to teacher as she said, "Please introduce yourself to the class."

I politely bowed to everyone and said, "Hello everyone. My name is Echizen Ryuu. It is very nice to be in the same class as you all."

I saw that Kikumaru-san and Fuji-san are in the same class as me.

The teachers then said to the class, "Do any of you have questions for Echizen-san?"

That was when a surge of hands went up.

The first question was, "Are you related to Echizen Ryoma?"

"Yes. I'm his younger twin sister."

"Ehhh? Isn't he a freshman?"

The teacher said, "Echizen-san is originally a freshman. However, her scores on the placement test brought her to you guys."

The next question was, "Do you have a boyfriend?"

Haa. The question I hate. "No, I don't have a boyfriend because I think it's too early for a relationship."

The boys pov in the class (except Eiji and Fuji):

Yesssss. I have a chance at her.

Ryuu pov:

The next question was, "What are your hobbies?"

"Hmm. I'd say my hobbies are playing tennis, drawing, reading, and shopping for tennis equipment."

The last question was from Kikumaru-san, "Ochibi-chan. Are you gonna join the tennis team, nya?"

I smiled at that and said, "Of course. I will join the tennis team."

That's when the teacher said that class needs to start and my seat was in between Fuji-san and Kikumaru-san.

The first class of the day was English. I don't really have to do anything so I started drawing me and Ryo-nii playing tennis.

I was making such a nice drawing until the teacher said, "Echizen-san, would you please translate the 3rd passage of the reading into English?"

I stood up and said the answer in perfect English without any second wasted.

The teacher seemed startled and said, "T-that's fine. You can sit down now."

I sat down and continued drawing for the rest of the class. Nobody disturbed me.

When it was lunch time, I went up to the roof and found Ryo-nii sleeping as usual.

He wasn't waking up so I decided to take out one of my weights and drop it on his stomach.

He woke up with a pained face. Well, at least it didn't kill him.

He looked over to me and yelled, "Ryuu, why did you do that?!"

"You weren't waking up so I woke you up for lunch."

His face softened and then he said, "Okay. Next time, do something that won't kill me."

I gave him a closed-eyed smile and said, "Okie~"

We started eating our bento boxes and then we heard someone yell, "OCHIBI, OCHIBI-CHAN!!!!!" before getting hugged by Kikumaru-san.

It was a hug of death. I couldn't breathe at all and I'm pretty sure that my face was turning blue.

That's when Oishi-san came up with a worried face and said, "Eiji, let them go. Their faces are turning blue."

Kikumaru-san let us go and I was getting my breath back.

"*gasp*Thank you, *gasp* Oishi-senpai."

Then Kikumaru-san was apologizing, "Gomen. You two were just too cute that I couldn't help but hug you."

I said, "...it's okay...we're alive."

After a while, I finally got my breath back.

The whole tennis team was here with us. 

I went up to Tezuka-san and asked, "Would it be alright if I joined the boys' tennis team?"

Everybody was staring at me after what I asked.

Tezuka-san thought for a while before answering, "Fine. Only after you defeat all the non-regulars, you will be in the team. If you defeat 3 regulars, you will become a regular."

The lunch period ended and the rest of the school day continued. We had math class next.

As much as I like math, the class was very boring. I just fell asleep.

I wasn't dreaming about anything and it was a nice rest until the teacher called on me. He asked me to solve this question if I thought that the lesson was too easy that I had to sleep.

I went up to the board and solved all 5 questions on the board even though he only told me to solve the first question.

Everybody was shocked to see me answer them correctly. Now then, I hope nobody else would disturb me any longer.

The day ended quickly and I immediately went to the tennis club.

I saw Tezuka-san and Ryuuzaki baa-san. I went up to them and asked, "Which regulars do I have to go up against after the non-regulars?"

Ryuuzaki baa-san then said, "We decided that you will go up against Eiji, Fuji, and Tezuka."

So I'll go up against Tezuka-san, huh. From the looks of it, he's a national-level player, but he has an injury...

"Okay. I'll come back after I defeat the non-regulars."
