I'm just gonna say, I read over my previous chapters so I can get a feel on what I should write but....the cringe...is real...
Also, posting at 1:00 am isn't that bad. Considering how I'm nocturnal lelPreviously~(the chapter where Ryuu beat Bakaya and Mura offered her a spot as a regular)
"Will you join us as we go towards our 3rd national win since you defeated one of our regulars?"
"I've heard about your rules about never losing. I would like to try joining your team, but I have one question for you all."
"Please, ask us whatever question you have in mind."
"Is tennis fun for you all right now?"
Ryuu pov:
The Regulars stayed quiet as I asked that question. No other choice then...
"I see..... then I will accept your offer."
"Really?"
"Yes. I will join you. I'm also curious as to how 2 consecutive year champions train."
"Well then, it's an honor to have you join our team, Ryuu. However, you must remember that Rikkaidai will never allow failure. We WILL win at all times."
I mentally sighed. Why did I accept this offer again?
Well, it's to help them realize how winning is not always everything so I guess this sacrifice of a normal school life is okay.
Timeskip:
"Tadaima~"
"Ara, Ryuu. Welcome back," I heard okaa-san say in the kitchen.
I went towards the kitchen.
"So, did you choose a school you are interested in going to?"
"Yup. I want to go to Rikkaidai, okaa-san."
Okaa-san smiled before saying, "Okay. I'll start the paperwork later today."
"Arigatō, okaa-san."
I went up to my room. Got to my bed. And fell backwards onto my bed.
I stared up at the ceiling for a while.
Is this the right choice?
I wonder if I made a good choice in enrolling to Rikkaidai.
Next day:
I woke up early (something I would never be able to do...), got myself ready for the day and went downstairs.
I saw okaa-san and asked her, "Okaa-san, did you enroll me in Rikkaidai?"
She smiled and said, "I got everything ready for you last night, Ryuu."
She gave me my uniform and I just stared at it.
Yellow.
I sighed and just went back upstairs to my room so I could change.
I looked at myself in the mirror. Hm, not bad. (If I ever wear a school uniform....imma probably die)
I grabbed my schoolbag and got ready to go to school. I wonder what people would think if I carry around my racquets.
