Mikasa Pov:
We finally reach his house at around 9:30 pm, which is late. I'm glad he bumped into me or I would be sleeping on the streets tonight. I look at his house and it's really beautiful. It's not very big but it looks like the house has two levels. The front yard has so many flowers on both sides beside a concrete path that leads to the front door. "Your house is very beautiful" I say in awe. "Oh thanks! I've lived in this house ever since I was a baby with my mom." He said. Wait, what about his dad? Maybe I shouldn't ask him. "That's nice" I said with a smile. We reach the door and he opens to reveal the inside. It was also beautiful too. "MOM, IM BACK!" Eren yells. He walks to the living room, so I follow him and I see a women who looks very pretty. I'm guessing that's his mom. "Oh! Hi son. What took you so long?" She asks with curiosity. Then she spots me. "Who's this ?? She's very beautiful! Is this your girlfriend?" She asks happily. I blush and I'm as red as a tomato and I look at Eren and he's the same. " um-n-no m-mom." Then he clears his throat. " This is Mikasa. I met her when we accidentally bumped into each other at the bus station and it looked like she had no where to go. It's the pretty late and it's dangerous for her to walk outside alone, so I invited her to stay with us until she finds an apartment she can buy. Is it okay mom?" He explains to his mother. "Of course! Yes, you could stay here. At least their will be another girl in this house!" She starts laughing as she gets up and walks to me giving me her hand to shake and I shake back. "my name is Carla Jäger. It's nice to meet you Mikasa" she says with a smile that could bring up someone who is down. I smile back and say " hello mrs.Jäger, it's nice to meet you too. Thank you for letting me stay here for a while. I'm really grateful!" I say. " oh no problem. I don't mind." She says. "So!" Eren speaks up and I look at him. "Now that you met my mom, let's get you settled in the extra room we have upstairs. Follow me Mikasa." Eren says smiling. Mrs.Jäger and Eren have the same smile that gives me warmth to my heart. "Okay!" I smile with my teeth. "Goodnight mrs. Jäger!" I say. "goodnight mom!" Eren says. "goodnight kids" mrs. Jäger says. We walk up the stairs to the room I will be sleeping in. "This is my room and right next to it is yours. Unpack your stuff and come to my room. We can talk." I blush. What exactly does he mean by talk. Mikasa just go unpack!!! I go to my room and close the door. I start unpacking all my things. When I was done I changed to my pjs which is just a normal shirt and baggy shorts. Okay now I have to go to eren's room to talk. I reached his front door and- wait why am I feeling nervous? What is this feeling? Just knock the door Mikasa! I finally knock. "Come INNNN!!!!" Eren said, well kind of yelled. Anyways, I went in and saw him sitting on his bed. "Hello Mikasa, come sit lets talk!" He says with an innocent face. "Okay Eren" I say while walking to his bed and sat beside him. "So what did u want to talk about?" I say nervously. Them his face suddenly turned serious. "Tell me the real reason why you were out in the dark with all your luggage" he says. I look at him shocked. How did he know? " W-why would you think-" I said before I got cut off. "COME ON Mikasa! Nobody looks for an apartment late at night and your eyes were puffy, it looked like you were crying. I'm worried so please tell me." He says as he stares into my eyes. Wow I never realized how handsome he is and his beautiful green eyes. I could melt in them.... - WAIT UGH MIKASA WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING!!! But seriously why am I acting like this and feeling this way? After a while I decided I'll tell him. *sigh* "okay I'll tell you" I say. He nods his head waiting for me to answer. "Okay so I ran away from home. My full name is Mikasa Kazuto Ackerman but I like Mikasa Kazuto better. The reason why I ran away was because my dad forced an arranged marriage for me to someone named Jean Maxime Kirstein and I never met him before. LIKE I WAS SO MAD AT HIM I HAD to run away because I've been hiding this pain for so many years, since I was a kid." I start crying. "Since my mom died when I was six and my dad changed entirely after that. He started forcing me to study even though I was young and I was alone and had no friends, only the maids and butlers were the only one who would talk to me. *sniff* I was so LONELY. I would cry every night before I went to bed. So I decided that I would run away from all this S***!!! I'M SCARED BECAUSE I KNOW MY DAD WILL COME BACK LOOKING FOR ME, I don't wanna go back Eren!" I yelled while bursting into tears. I couldn't hold it back anymore. I had to let it all out. "I miss my mom. If she was here then none of this would've happen. I'm sorry I came out like that like, I couldn't hold it in anymore." I said while my head is facing down. Then suddenly I felt a pair of warm, muscular arms wrap around me. "Eren-" "It looks like you need a hug from all that. I'm so sorry Mikasa for the horrible past you had and for loosing your mother. I somehow feel the pain you feel too. Thanks for telling me and don't worry" he let go of the hug and looked me straight into the eyes and said "I'll protect you" I blushed and wiped my tears. "Thank you Eren" I said with a smile.

Eren Pov:
"Now that you told me about your past, I'll tell you mine." I said looking at her. "No no it's okay you don't need to." She said. "It's fair and you'll know more about me." I said. She nods. "when I was a baby I had a dad but he left right after that and I never saw him for 6 years until I was six years old. I noticed that my mom had bruises and she looked hurt everywhere so I asked her and she said they were only from the cause of cooking. A little while after I had taken a nap and I heard my mom screaming in pain so I went down to check it." I said while my head is facing down holding myself to cry. "A-and I saw my dad who I haven't saw in six years and he was there abusing my mother like its nothing! I was crying so hard that time and I didn't know what to do cuz I was just a kid so I called 911 and they came and arrested my father and he found out that I called them and he cussed at me and told me that he'll come back for revenge. Now I just want to protect my mother and keep her safe." I said while tears were falling down from my eyes. "Now that I heard your story, we're kind of the same aren't we?" I said also and grabbed her hands and looked at her. Woah she is really beautiful. What is this feeling? She blushed when I did that, I wonder why. "Yeah I guess so. Eren I'd like to be really good friends with you. Thanks for having this talk with me, now I don't have to hide anything." She said while smiling at me and I smiled back. Now I gotta change the topic. "Hey Mikasa! What high school are you going to?" I said. "Oh I'm going to Shiganshina High school!" She said. "Cool! I go to the same one!!!" I said excited. "Oh you do! Yes! Atleast I won't be lonely" she said and started to laugh. Her laugh is cute.... Why does this keep happening! Ugh I got to figure out what this feeling is. Anyways we talked for the rest of the night and we went to be bed finally at one in the morning because we we're really tired from talking a lot. I tuck myself in bed and look up at the ceiling. I wonder what's gonna happen in the future. After that I dozed off.

   Mikasa Pov:
After we finished talking, I went to bed because I was really tired from all that talking. I laugh to myself thinking about it what we talked about. I tuck myself in bed. I'm really thankful that Eren found me at that bus station. Mom if you can hear me, I think the future is going to be pretty good for me... But I know dad will come look for me. I won't go back! Anyways I better find an apartment soon. Heh. Hey mom, is this what they call Fate? Then I doze off into a deep sleep.
