Chapter 26

Mahigit isang buwan na mula ng lumipat kami sa hotel na to, bahagya na ring humupa ang takot at kaba sa dibdib ko at hindi ko na masyadong ini isip na baka na sundan kami dito sa Pilipinas ng kung sino mang pumatay kay Atty. Chun. Naka apat tawag na sakin ang na ulilang girlfriend nya at hanggang ngayon daw ay wala pang makitang lead tungkol sa kaso. Our one month here cost a furtune, pero hanggat hindi malinaw ang lahat I guess it's better na manatili kami sa guarded na lugar.

Mahigit isang buwan na ring pa balikbalik dito sa hotel si Daniel at sa twina ay may bitbit na kung ano-ano, minsan prutas, laruan o kaya naman ay pagkain. The food looked home cooked, I know daniel can cook but as far as I can remember his cooking are not that good, so I thought it was his wife's cooking. Our relationship to each other became civil for our children's sake. We acknowledge each other's presence and briefly talk pero ganon lang, it's mostly Danni that I was talking to, while Daniel spends time talking to the boys. I already let them go with him twice, they usually go down to the pool for a swim while Danni and I spent time catching up from the times we were apart. 

Naka usap ko na rin si ate Marie through Skype, she was so happy to see me as I was so happy to see her after all this time, kahit na sa camera at video call lang. Hindi naman sya na galit sakin nag tampo lang, nag ka iyakan pa kami, pero okay na, seeing me is enough daw para ma wala ang tampo nya. Dalawa na ang anak nya kay Warren a girl and a boy named Marionette and Cade. 

She looked happy and blessed and she seemed like she barely aged, maganda parin sya at slim na kagaya ng dati. She said I looked good too and was surprised to see my boys but actually more surprised to see my hair. I was glad to hear from her and I was happy to have her presence back in my life, na kaka bawas pala ng stress kapag alam mong may taong nag mamahal at nag aalala para sayo. 

I never mentioned anything about my situation right now, ayoko syang mag alala at ayoko syang madamay sa stress ko. Just knowing she was there was more than enough for me. I never saw ate June yet, but maybe one day I will. I'll be meeting Myla and Leandro to dinner tonight with Daniel, dito lang rin naman sa loob ng hotel, sa sixth floor to be precise. Gusto daw akong maka kwentohan. Ayoko sana kaso lang mapilit sya kaya na pa oo ako ng tawagan nya ko sa landline dito sa suite namin. I don't know about what Daniel's wife will say. I don't even know if she knew about the twins. Daniel never mentioned her and I never asked about her not even to Danni. 

I just ordered room service for the boys and once they we're done eating, I decided to dress up. I put on light make up, red lipstick, a little black dress, thin red belt to cinched my waist and red high heeled shoes. I fixed my hair, clipping it on one side with a red rose hair clip and  putting the rest of my hair on my left shoulder, exposing the whole right side of my face, neck and shoulder na tanging ang manipis na halter strap lang ng damit ko ang tumabing. I finished it off with a diamond studded earring na regalo pa sakin ni Sijeon nong huling birthday ko bago sya mamatay. 

I grabbed a red purse so match everything up and then went out to check on the boys in the mini living room, where they are watching TV with Sheen playing beside them. Danni will be coming over tonight to look after them habang nasa baba ako, at pag panhik nya saka lang ako ba baba. 

It did not take long and the door bell rang, I opened the door as soon as I checked who it was from the peephole.

"Hi mom! Looking great!" She said smiling at me before she wrapped her arms and kissed me lightly on both cheeks.

I murmured my thanks to her, hugged and kissed her too before we let go of each other, the boys are waiting for her and both smiling  even Sheen looks excited, kicking and punching the air. She kissed both boys on their cheeks and gave them each a hug, before she picked up Sheen from his baby rug on the floor, he giggled when she kissed and tickled him.
