Worries

'I don't really need to grab anything and the location on the map is pretty close... I should be in and out in no time.' You quickly prepared a magic transfer circle and went to the destination.

The caravan was indeed wrecked and looked like any remaining survivors had gone off. 'That's a bit odd.' You then surveyed the area around you but found nothing out of order.

Upon approaching the wagon you inspected all crates finding mostly produce and grains.

'Of course the last box I happen to check is the one.' You grumbled mentally as you pulled the container over.

You carefully opened it and found that it was indeed a cache of magic tools. 'How do commoners get a hold of these anyway?' After sealing the box again you carried it over to an open spot before whisking yourself away in a magic transfer circle.

Once back at the palace you leisurely made your way to the Lord's office with the box in your arms.

"That seemed way too easy..." You whispered to yourself as you neared the door. 'Something doesn't sit right with me.'

"Lord Kouen?" You gently knocked before pushing the door open. "I've already returned with what you requested."

"Wonderful." Kouen stated as he eyed the crate. "But I must commend you on a job well-done... How did you manage to get back so fast?"

"There was one thing... The place was completely empty, why wasn't there any resistance?" You asked as you set the container down near his desk.

The Lord's expression became serious for a moment before relaxing. 'He must has realized something.'

"Whatever it was, it must be no threat to us at the moment..." He then responded while rubbing his chin.

"Is there anything else you'll be needing?" You politely bowed while placing a hand on your chest.

"Not at the moment... Be sure not to tell Judal anything." Kouen remarked in a deep tone.

"Not a word." You replied as you slid out the door.

'But why? All I did was retrieve magic tools.'

You then started making your way down to Judal's room, relieved what lord Kouen wanted was taken care of quickly. 'Although I didn't gain anything from that.'

You felt weird...

To most people, you came across as a powerful magician striving for greater power. But with Judal it was different, being with him made you annoyed, submissive, and yet happy at the same time. Any 'suggestive' remark he said made you stutter and blush, with any other guy that wasn't the case. You still felt a little uneasy about being dominated in the way he wanted to.

Zoning back into reality, you stood in front his door and sighed before knocking twice.

"Ju-"

"Come in."

You stepped in to the room to be greeted by an irritated looking magi.

"(Y/N)..." The magi frowned. "You were in that office with Kouen for a long time (Y/N)..." He then stated as he folded his arms in front of his chest.

'How do I explain... Lord Kouen gave me a specific order not relay any details to Judal.'

"It was nothing really, why?" You answered casually while shrugging.

Judal sat with an unhappy look on his face.

"Do you not like spending time with me?" He pouted while furrowing his brows.

"No- I mean- No, I don't mind." You stammered as you raised your arms in front of you.

"... ..." He narrowed his eyes and raised his chin. "That sounded pretty bad (Y/N)."

"I just... You know..." You scratched your head. 'Great.'

"We just got back and you want to spend more time with Kouen instead me?" His gaze became hollow. "What is he to you?"

"What? W-Wait a second... Are you jealous?"

"Of course I am!" The magi then turned his head to the side. "You're mine you know..." He added in a quieter voice.

You walked over and sat down next to him.

"I know..." You said to him softly.

"(Y-Y/N)..." He slightly blushed and then wrapped his arms around you. "I love you."

"Yeah, me too." You nuzzled your head against his chest and relaxed.
