Recovery

Hakuryuu's body rolled off you and landed to the side with a small thud.

Being a bit confused it took you while to figure out your situation.

'So I casted the aura,

I know it affected him because I felt it flicker and I pinpointed him.

He should have been too exhausted to move,
but he wasn't.'

The agonizing pain then brought you back to your current state.

You realized the weapon had gone all the way through.

'This is bad.'

Your vision was fading and blood around you soon turned into a puddle.

Using your magic, you slowly pulled out the blade and started the slow process of healing. And this was a djinn inflicted wound, there could be status affects.

Then it dawned on you.

'Was his intention to kill me all along?'

Even so, this wouldn't change your plan. He was out cold and you needed him out.

You where going to change his memories.

First, the memory of this fight need to be gone. Next, you needed to manufacture a fake memory to replace this one, one that would make the two of you get along.

And maybe even make him forget he confessed his feelings to you. That would save some trouble.

You casted a refraction bubble around the two of you in case someone else would come along and panicked. The both of you weren't exactly quiet.

According to your calculations, you had enough time to heal yourself and extract memories before the prince would wake up, so you took the time to heal properly. About ten minutes later you sat up looking almost completely unscathed, apart from your slightly messy hair.

Reaching over cautiously you then started to pull memories that came out as thin white threads from the male in front of you. Clipping out your preferred parts you then started mending them with the manufactured events. It was a bit cruel, but it was necessary.

'Judal wanted us to get along.' You told yourself. 'And that's what'll happen.'

You would stay by his side until he woke up, it was the least you could do.

<Hakuryuu POV>

The prince slowly opened his eyes to see (Y/N) leaning over him.

His face instantly flushed red.

"(Y-Y/N)" He blinked in surprise. "What are you-"

"Glad to see you're awake." She smiled softly before standing up.

"What happened?" Hakuryuu asked while rubbing his head.

'I feel... Hazy... Almost like I'm forgetting something.'

"You wanted to do some extreme balance training again..." She sighed out. "You hit your head pretty hard when you feel. Seriously, you should be more careful." (Y/N) then scolded.
