Chapter Eighteen

Dan's P.O.V.

It's been a week since the suspensions were set, which means Gene, Nick, and Jack are coming back today. Although, I'm sure they won't try to mess with us...hopefully.

"Um, h-hi guys..." I hear a nervous sounding voice from behind. What do they want?

"What are you doing here Nick...and Jack?" I ask letting out a sigh. Not noticing Jack until the end of my sentence.

"Well, we just want to know...if we could uh...join you guys?" Nick's voice goes a bit higher at the end.

"Why? Can't you just hang out with Gene?" That's who they usually are with. Wait, now that I think about it, they're with each other only more than with Gene. Still, I don't see the problem can't they just stay alone.

"Well, we never really liked him and we just want you guys to see a different side of us." Jack speaks up a bit.

"Well, I don't really trust you. You hurt me...especially you Jack..." I mumble the last part under my breath. When he pretended to be Phil...ugh. Phil taps on my shoulder.

"I hurt you Dan. You trust me right bear?" Phil asks me looking me in the eyes with a bit of sadness.

"Of course I do little lion. I just don't trust them because I don't know them the way I know you," I hear a strange sound come from the other two and when I look over they have weird expressions on their face. "What?"

"I'm sorry," Nick says trying to hide the expression but it only turns into a bigger smile. "But your nicknames for each other are so cute!"

"Huh? I thought you guys are homophobic? You know just thinking that we're terrible people for being bisexual." I'm confused. Really confused.

"Well, um, not really. Can you keep a secret?" Nick asks. In response we nod. "We're actually...b-both...gay?" His voice goes higher at the end making it sound like a question.

"Wait, you're gay?" I hear Connor ask surprised from behind. I turn around to see the entire group listening in to the conversation.

"I-uh...I mean...y-yes," Jack stutters shocked and looking slightly scared. "Please don't tell anyone!"

"I don't believe you guys. I know you're great actors. You've been in drama for six years." Phil crosses his arms. Hm, he does but a good point. Wait, isn't there some kind of  stereotype for boys in drama being gay? Eh, I'll just push it aside.

"We're serious. Phil we kind of had a situation like yours with Gene. Except he didn't know we were and we just wanted to join him out of fear. It was a big mistake. I'm sorry Connor, Troye, and Dan." Nick lets out a sigh explaining the reasoning.

"Really? I just have one question, are you guys dating?" I ask with a slight smirk. Not going to lie, they'd be good together.

"W-Wait no? I mean psh is never date him! I mean we're gay, just not gay for each other! Haha!" Jack quickly answers while Nick scratches the back of his head. A few of us can't help from a small laugh and even one of us says 'Sure you aren't.' followed by an eye roll.

"So, uh, do you forgive us? And could we possibly hang out with you guys?" Nick asks.

"Hm, it might take some time to get used to it like with Phil it will--" I cut Alfie off.

"Did." I correct him.

"Yes, did," Alfie gives me an eye roll out of annoyance. "But yes, you can hang out with us."

So sorry the last chapter and this one were complete crap and pretty short(the next one will be too). But school is starting for me tomorrow and I kind of want to give you guys a few chapters before I can't update as often. ALSO THANK YOU GUYS FOR 400+ READS!
