Dan's P.O.V.
I walk into art only to be greeted by Gene on his first day back.
"Dan I'm sorry." He says. Wait, what?
"Wait, what?" I'm confused.
"Listen, I'm sorry for hurting you. I just kind of had my heart broken by someone. It led me to want to destroy other people's love and I just thought that you guys would be the easiest since there's already some hate." He sighs. Wait broken heart?
"You can't have a broken heart. We're in high school. You couldn't have fallen in love." I say trying to detect a lie.
"I don't know, you and Phil have heart eyes and love eyes painted all over the stares at one another," Now that I think about it, how exactly do I feel about Phil. Am I in love with him? "So, do you forgive me?" You know what, I forgave Nick, Jack, and Phil. Why the hell not?
"Yes." And with that the bell rings. My new group is actually pretty great. Sure, there's no Phil but it's great.
