Well I finally got my good friend of eight years hooked on horses. *snorts* that conversation went a little bit like this:
Friend: *over phone* hey can you do me a favor Me: *rummaging through pantry* yeah for sure what do you need Friend: well I want to take riding lessons so do you mind giving me one? Me: *falls and drags entire pantry with me* ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Friend: oh sorry, I guess I'll... Me: Oh NONONONONONONONONO! Friend: wut Me: I have been waiting for this since SECOND GRADE Friend: so I'll take that as a yes? Me: put your boots on and go to the barn I'll be there in five Friend: are you even dressed yet? Me: *already zipping chaps* ha that's funny
So I gave her a lunge line lesson on the fabulous boy previously mentioned. He was lovely with her and she did well enough to get off the line. (I did jog next to them for a bit to make sure José didn't dive out of the ring. Ours is unfenced.)
