When the twins gave Harry the Marauders map, this was probably what was going through their minds. "Harry, since Ron is your best friend, please ask him why he sleeps with the same guy every night."
But of course, Harry was too stupid to see that his best friend slept with the same guy each night, and thus, never brought it up.
