This is one of the facts that I found myself. And, I know that some of you might not like me for this, but I am not throwing hate at any of the characters. I just noticed how alike The Potters and Cuckoo birds are. Without further ado...

A cuckoo bird lays its eggs in another bird's nest. The hen cuckoo bird pushes one of the eggs out of the other bird's nest, and lays its own egg in it. When the cuckoo bird hatches, it is naturally bigger than it's 'siblings' and requires more food. Therefore, the mother bird spends all her time and energy on the cuckoo bird chick, forgetting about her own children. Soon, all the baby birds - except the cuckoo-  die from neglect, and by the time the mother bird realizes her mistake, it is too late.

Now, replace the cuckoo birds, and the hosting birds with Lily, Harry, Molly, and Fred.
