After Fred's death, George never celebrated his birthday. Blowing the candles alone just never felt right. So, one day, when his son was around four, George was asked, "Dad, why do you never celebrate your birthday?"
George replied with a simple, "It reminds me something I don't want to remember."
"Will you celebrate it this year?" Freddie asked.
George thought for a while, then responded with, "Only if you'll blow the candles with me."
