Chapter 12

~Isaac's P.O.V~

Did my sister just leave me. I really wanted to go too. Whatever I'll just get some movies from my room and set up the living room. Once I ran upstairs I had five or six movies in my hand before the doorbell rang.

I ran down the steps in some basketball shorts and a tight t-shirt. I took a deep breath ready for all the questions they are gonna bombard me with. Once I opened the door. I love my sister for leaving me here. Standing at my door was a pretty dirty blonde girl with big icy blue eyes.

She had on a gray sweatshirt and black skinny jeans and a beanie and some white converse. Realizing I was staring I stuck my hand out.

"Hey I'm Isaac, Lia's brother." She put her hand in mine. "Hey I'm Ashleynn and behind me is my brother Josh and my best friend Toby." She said as she slowly quit shaking my hand.

I looked up to see a guy glaring at me, I'm assuming that's her brother. The other guy is just standing there rocking back and forth looking around what he can see at the front door.

"Oh, sorry where are my manners. Please come in." I said stepping aside to let them in. As they walked in I closed the door behind them before putting the movies on the island and fixing myself a glass of water.

"Hey uh Isaac, I gotta use the bathroom where is it?" Josh asked. I took a sip of water. "Upstairs second floor last door on the right." I said pointing towards the stairs.

He nodded and went up. "Hey, do you mind if I look around a bit?" Toby I think, asked. "Knock yourself out." I said taking another sip of water. He ran up the stairs somewhere leaving me and Ashleynn alone.

I turned to put my cup in the sink. I turned back to see her looking through the movies. "Nice collection I prefer action and adventure movies too." She said still going through. She gasped.

"You have Law abiding citizen! Can we please watch this first?" She said with a cute little pouting face. "Well once Lia and Nathan get back we'll all decide on what to watch if it so happens to be it then we'll watch it." I said leaning over the island and gently taking the movie out of her hand. She smiled and nodded.

"Where are they anyway?" She asked with curious eyes. "They wen-" I was cut off by the garage door being opened and laughter. I walked over to Lia and grabbed some of the bags out of her hands.

"What's so funny?" I asked putting them on the counter. "Okay so while I was getting stuff I remembered that you loved Nutters Butter bars as a kid so I went to get you some. While I was on the aisle some fake blonde was standing in front of them. I asked her could she move out the way so I could get them. Note that I have never met this girl before. So imagine my surprise when she said my name. I asked how she knew my name. She gone say some: if your the bitch that stole my best friend's man it's kinda hard to forget. Well I told her: if she wasn't a slut and didn't go around cheating on people left and right she would have a man. I turned to walk away towards the check out line then she gone yell: my name's May Pepper by the way. I yelled back: My name's I don't give a damn. Then I walked off." She finished.

We all burst out laughing as Josh and Toby entered the room. They both jumped her in a hug. "Lia's here , Lia's here." They both chanted. I chuckled at the scene in front of me. Ashleynn got up and pried them off her.

"She's my best friend so I get first dibs on hugs." She said engulfing Lia into a tight bone crushing hug.

"It's good to see y'all too. How long have y'all been here?" Lia asked while being released from the hug. "Oh, probably about five minutes." Ashleynn answered back.

"So that gave my brother time to flirt with you huh." Lia said looking between me and Ashleynn. Her face turned as red as a tomato.

"What, no we weren't flirting." She said nervously. "Riight, so y'all staring at each other at the door for about a minute and a half wasn't flirting." Josh said with a smirk and a eyebrow raised.

They all laughed as her face turned red again. I decided to jump in. "So, now that we've all had a laugh can we do what we came here for?" I asked. They all nodded and walked towards the living room accept Ashleynn, she stood there froze.

I put my hand on the small of her back. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked which seemed to get her out of her daze. She nodded. "Yeah, I'm good." She gave a smile. I nodded and we walked towards the living room. " I did not get a chance to set the living room up, so guys can you move the furniture back a little and the coffee table can be pushed out to the side, and ladies could you go upstairs and get as many blankets as you possibly can?" They all nodded and got to work.

By time the boys had finished moving the furniture back the girls came back carrying four hands full of blankets. (One pile in each hand.) Once they got close enough to me I grabbed the blankets from them and put them on the love seat beside me.

Once I had set the blankets out and threw a few cushions on the pallet, we decided on what to watch first which was ironically Law Abiding Citizen. We all got settled on the pallet. Lia is sitting by Nathan, Ashleynn is sitting by me, and Toby is sitting by Josh. After about the third movie Ashleynn had fallen asleep on my shoulder.

I look to see Toby and Josh had fallen asleep and so has Lia and Nathan. Well I guess it's my turn to fall asleep too. After I got comfortable which was Ashleynn still laying on my shoulder and my arm around her I went into a deep sleep.

a/n: so I have been taking a while to update. School is about to start for me and I have a lot to do plus I just got back from vacation. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!!
