Chapter 7

~Nathan's P.O.V~

I was sitting in class talking with my best friend, Josh. He had blue eyes, dirty blonde hair and cheek bones so defined they made him look older.  At the moment  he was telling me how his sister, Ashleynn stole his favorite workout shirt and wouldn't give it back. "Then she said I wouldn't use your shirts if you did your portion of the chores." He did in a mocking voice of his sister.

I swear sometimes he acts like a girl. The door of the class room had opened and the girl for yesterday walks in the room with Josh's sister. I hit him on the shoulder several times. "Dude, that's the girl from PUBLIX the other day." I whispered to him. "Damn, that outfit is on point." He said more to himself but I still nodded.

Her and Ashleynn slowed  down and stood in front of Mr. Goomers desk. He was practically making googly eyes at her, then again so was every other guy in this room. I looked around and all the girls were giving her death stares and glares.

"Listen up, we have a new student today." Mr. Goomers says. "She will be introducing herself as you all did so please give her your undivided attention." He finished then gave her the floor. She already had my attention in more ways than one.

"Hi. I'm Lia Jennings-" we all gasped. "I see you all know my brother huh?" She said and gave a little giggle. "Anyway I guess I'm supposed to tell you about myself. Right okay, so I like to cook, I sing a little and do ballet. Oh and I like to read." She finished and I could have sworn she winked at me, but my eyes could be playing tricks on me.

"Thank you, I think that was one of our best introduction. Right guys." He started clapping and the guys followed as the girls slow clapped and rolling there eyes.

I had looked around class and the only two empty seats were in front of me and and Josh. Ashleynn noticed the same thing and nudged Lia with her elbow gesturing to the seats in front of me and Josh. So nodded and took a seat in front of me and Ashleynn took the one in front of Josh.

When Mr. Goomers started teaching class  I had tapped her on the shoulder and handed her a small piece of paper it said -
So your following me now. Well I can't say I'm not enjoying it because that's a lie, but are you really related to Isaac Jennings??

She had slightly giggled, pulled out a pen and started writing. She thew it over her shoulder and it landed on my desk. I opened it-

Aww! It's cute think I spend all my time thinking about you, but I can't say it would be a horrible thing, because that would be a lie, and yes I am if you become a really good friend then you get to meet him.

It read. I chuckled then put the paper in my pocket. I felt like someone was staring at me. I turned my head and looked around to see Heather looking at me. Why can't that girl leave me alone.

First period was finally over when Mr. Goomers called us to stay after class. At first I thought it was about us passing notes, but then I realized he would've called us out on the spot.

Everyone had left and the door closed. We walked up to Mr.Goomers' desk. "Alright now I usually don't do this a lot, but I took a look at your papers Lia, and they are really good so I would like for you to tutor Mr.Nathan here because he is struggling." He said looking at us as if there was going to be a problem. I nodded and she did too. "It's okay with me if it's okay with you." I said looking at her. "Fine by me." She said giving s slight smirk walking out the class room.

I chased after her and saw her in the hallway talking with Ashleynn and Josh. I walked up to her and touched her shoulder. She flinched a little then relaxed turning around. "Yes?" She said raising an eyebrow. "Well I was wondering if-if well, since your tutoring me and all could I get your number?" I said nervously. She nodded and handed my her phone. I put my number in then Josh cleared his throat. "Girrl, what did you do?" Josh asked with a smirk. "What do you mean?" Lia asked with a confused face.

"I mean how do you have Nathan over here stuttering and you just got here?" He said leaning up on someone's locker. "Yeah, he really doesn't do that unless he really li-" I started to fake cough, interrupting Ashleynn mid sentence. Lia turned around and started patting me on my back while Josh and Ashleynn started making hearts with there hands behind her.

I stopped coughing and she looked at me with concern. "Are you okay?" she asked still rubbing my back and I'm not going to lie, it felt really good. I nodded "Yeah I'm fine, hey Josh shouldn't we be getting to class?" I said. He looked confused "No, we have about ten min-" I cut him off. "No remember you have that thing you need to do remember?" I said giving him the look.

He looked confused for a second then caught on to what I was trying to say. He made an 'oh' shape with his mouth. "Yeah I forgot but lets go, see ya later little sis." He said grabbing my arm and pulling me down the hall. That was close next, time I won't be so lucky.

a/n: Yayyyyy!!! I made this one alot longer, finally. This took along time because I had to think like a guy, so it took me a while to shut half my brain off. Just Kidding Just Kidding ,but anyway what do you think of Nathan and Josh. Doesn't Josh seem a little suspicious to you, but anyway I hope you like this one.
