I woke up to a beautifully sleeping Nathan. I looked around and saw my brother and Ashleynn asleep on each other. Quickly, I pulled my phone out and took a picture. After taking the picture I took a look at the time 4:20 p.m. Yawning I went upstairs to use the bathroom.
That was the best sleep I've had in ages. After doing my business I went back downstairs to see Isaac and Ashleynn awake. "Well look at that sleeping beauty and her price charming are finally awake." I said making my way over towards them.
I looked to see Nathan sound asleep. I kissed his cheek "Nate, wake-up for me, I made food." I whispered in his ear. With that his eyes shot open. "You are a torturous woman you know." He said in his morning voice. Sweet mother of baby Jesus he just keeps getting cuter and cuter.
"Lia, Lia!!" He waved his hand in my face. "Huh, yes what is it?" I asked. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park with me, we could have a picnic?" He asked with his big hazel eyes. "Yeah sure just give me time to change and I'll bring the sandwiches." I said getting up off the pallet. "Okay I'm going to go change and come back to get you." I nodded and walked him to the door.
He was about to walk out "wait!" I yelled a little too loud. He turned around and I stood on my tippy toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "See you in a little bit." I said closing the door. Turning around I didn't notice that Ashleynn and Isaac had moved to the kitchen till I heard the fridge open. "Ashleynn to my room." I said walking up the stairs with her hot on my trail. Opening the door to my room she waisted no time going into my closet and drawers looking for an outfit. After about ten minutes she handed me this:

After I got dressed she pulled me into the chair in front of my makeup desk. She started off with my primer, then she gave me some of the neutral colors to match my completion and give me more of a natural look. She did cat eye with eyeliner and put a little bit of lip gloss on my lips.
She then put my hair into a French braid down the middle. I then went downstairs to make sandwiches only to find Josh, Toby, and Isaac making sandwiches and loading them into a picnic basket along with some bottles of water. The doorbell had rang and Josh handed me the basket.
"Don't worry I made sure Isaac didn't put anything in it, now go have fun." He said patting my back. I opened the door. Nathan had on a mint green polo shirt and khaki shorts. "Wow, you look amazing." He said looking my up and down.
I giggled a little. "Are you ready to go?" I asked him with a smile. He nodded "Ladies first." He said. "Oh in that case I guess we should go at the same time then." I said jokingly as I walked out the door. He put his hand on the small of my back. He was so close I could smell his cologne. Damn he smells good! Is that weird? Anyway once we got to the car he opened my door. "I do have fully functional arms and hands you know." I said getting in the car.
"Yeah I hope I get to see how functional." He said closing my door and jogging to the other side. "So some of the sandwiches were made by my brother so if there's something in them just know it wasn't me." I said as he stopped at the light. He chuckled. "Nah, your brother actually likes me. Before you came down the the stairs he told me he did but, he had to act like a protective brother in front of you to give you a hard time." He said parking in the parking lot if the park.
He got out and jogged around the car and opened the door for me. Once he helped me out the car he grabbed my hand and lead me to a garden with beautiful daisies and marigolds. He stopped and turned around so I couldn't see what's in front of him. "Close your eyes." He whispers in my ear. His breath fans my ear and it sent shivers down my spine but, nonetheless I closed my eyes.
He took the basket out if my hand gently. I heard the grass crunching then a pop. "Okay, open your eyes." He said with a chuckle. I opened my eyes to see the most beautiful red and white roses. There was a big peach blanket and on top of it was the basket I brought and a bottle of sparkling cider.
I did not realize that Nathan was behind me until he put his arm around my waist. "Do you like it?" He whispered in my ear putting his chin on my shoulder. "No, I love it." I said as he let out a heavy breath. "Glad to hear, come on." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me to the picnic blanket. Right now we are in the middle of a game were we tell what we like. "So if someone was to apologize to you how would like it to be done?" I asked.
He thought for a second. "Hmm..... I'd say I would like to be apologize to in a song." He says with a definite tone. I giggle. Honestly I haven't stopped laughing since I've met him. "Okay, if someone were to give you a gift like flowers how would you like them to given?" He asked. This is a easy answer. "Easy, drawn." I said bluntly. "Drawn?" He asked. "Yes, my favorite flower is a rose and I like them drawn on paper." I said with a smile. "Why?" He asked with his eyebrows furrowed. "Because, they aren't just some real roses that you can slap three dollars down on and buy, that shows no emotion at all. Drawn Roses takes time and effort to make and to me if you do that for someone then it means that you would do anything to make them happy." I said as his eyes poured into mine the whole time. He nodded in understanding. "Drawn Roses." He whispered under his breath. I don't think I was supposed to hear it but, I did.
The rest of the afternoon was amazing. We talked and joked and just had fun. On the way to my house we sang along to some of the songs on the radio. Once we got to the house he got out and walked me to the door. "Lia, l had a great time tonight and I hope we can do this again. I really like you." Nathan says holding my hand as we approach the door.
I stopped in front of my door and turn to face him. "I had a really great time to and I really like you." I said to him. "Can I just try one thing before I leave?" He asked. "Sure, what is it?" I asked him. He leaned in and kissed me. His lips were so soft.
Just as he starts to pull away I kiss him back. We continue this for I don't know how long but, eventually we slowly pulled away. "That was my first kiss." I said to him. He looked surprised at first then he said "Well I hope it was a good one and I'm glad to be your first and hopefully last." He said with dimple showing smile. "Goodnight." I said standing in the doorway of Isaac's house.
Nathan was about to walk back to his car. "Wait!" I yelled loud enough for him and anyone walking on the street to hear. He turns around to face me. "It was a good first." I say giving a smile. "Goodnight my seleva." He says giving me a toothy smile as I close the door.
I turn around to see a ear to ear smile from Ashleynn. She grabs my arm and pulls me up the stairs to my room. After closing the door she pulls my to my bed and sits down. "Spill." Is the only word she says for me to know this is going to be along night.
