Caught Between A War

A day without you

School had just ended as you, Yuya, Yuzu, and Sora had walked out of the unique building "hey let's get some ice cream!" Sora recommend "sorry guys but I have to clean my room" you sweat dropped seeing everyone's reaction (basically it looks like ಠ╭╮ಠ or ಠ_ಠ) "why~~!?" Yuya whined as you just laughed nervously "you see I woke up a little late and I for some random reason lost my stuff... So I turned my room upside down" now it was time for them to swear drop but Yuzu got a paper fan and smacked the back of your head "itaitaitaitaita!!" You shouted as you sat on the ground with a big lump on your head "hmph you always run off" she says with a pissed off face (😡)  "I know but this time I promise I'll be back" you said putting your hands together in a pleading motion "as long as you come back" Yuya says with a smile. You get and thank your friends as you promise to meet at the cafe, you run as fast as you can to your house opening the door and going straight to your room.

Once you opened the door you were blasted with work to do "man its gonna take forever" sighing you started your work......

You wiped off sweat from your head "whew! Done at last" taking a look around your room seeing how it was clean and neat (totally opposite from mine). Looking at the time it was only 5 so you had enough time, you jog over to Yuto and Shun's hideout "Yuto! Shun!" You called out but got no response "eh? No ones here?" Shrugging your shoulders you go to the cafe where you knew everyone else waited "oi (name)!" You heard causing you to turn your head..... Sadly you regretted it because Yuzu had slammed her fan on your head "itaitaitaita!!!" You shouted in pain muttering that you knew how Yuzu's dad felt now. Walking yo the table where Yuya and Sora were sitting you ordered (f/f) and (f/d) after learning that the others already ordered "so how bad was your room?" Yuya asked while you sweat dropped "it looked like it went through hell and back multiple times" you said causing Yuya, Yuzu, and Sora to laugh "its true" you said with a glare "we know but it doesn't seem like you would make your room that bad" Yuzu stated. For some reason you felt uneasy 'is something going to happen? Are Yuto and Shun ok?' You asked yourself not noticing that Sora was asking you about your dueling. Yuzu and Yuya were worried, you usually space out when you're thinking so they worried what you were thinking about now "I'm going to the restroom" Sora exclaimed getting up and going to the corner of the building as Yuzu knew this would be her only chance to ask "hey (name) are you ok? You space a lot when you're thinking. What are you thinking about?" Yuzu looked at how your eyes widen slightly at the question.

"Nothing! I'm thinking about nothing!"

Yuzu and Yuya didn't buy your answer "but you always space out" Yuya stated with a pouting face. You know that you can't get out of this so you decided to talk but not say to much. "Well I'm just worried about...... My.....aunt?" It came out more of a question than an answer, but strangely Yuya and Yuzu had bought that as they asked what had happened to your aunt.

"Well she... Got into a car accident!!!"

You were thinking of other excuses while you were explaining to them what you were 'thinking' about "oh no! Is your aunt ok?" Yuzu asked "um yeah er no.... Um I hope so" you just couldn't think properly now "where does she live?" Sora asked as he popped out of nowhere "um... She lives overseas!" You shouted gaining the attention of the other customers that were in the cafe "woah no need to shout" Yuya laughed as a light pink hue of embarrassment telling Yuya not to laugh not noticing that someone was watching you from afar "she's blushing for him"  the watcher said as they glare at the tomato head (Yuya).

Shivers went up Yuya's spine "what's wrong Yuya?" Yuzu asked "I feel like someone is glaring at me" this time (name), Sora and Yuzu laughed telling Yuya that no one would glare at him. Yuya looked around a few times and started to calm down seeing that they're meal was coming "thank you!" They said to the waitress. Sora sighed drinking his shake "man, I'm bored... You guys wanna do something after this" the rest of you guys were thinking eating your own food "we could go to the amusement park" Yuzu suggested as you guys agreed finishing your food and headed out towards the amusement park not noticing that the strange figure followed you four.

When you guys arrive at the amusement park you went on the rollercoaster... Not a good idea. When you all got off Yuya went to the bathroom to puke as so did Yuzu and Sora leaving you alone "Yuto, I know its been months since I last saw you but now that you're gone again it feels weird" you spoke to yourself as you walked to a bench "um (name)?" Yuzu walked towards you "oh hey Yuzu. What's up?" You asked out of curiosity. Yuzu tells you that she had met a mysterious person the other week and that she wants to know if you knew him "huh? Where did you get that idea?" You asked not wanting Yuzu to figure it out.

"Well 1) he mentioned your name 2) you both have the same pendant 3) you both know how to Xyz summon and 4) you both have the same slightly dull eyes filled with sadness"

Amazing. Yuzu had figured you out but you couldn't say it, it was stuck in your throat "w-what are you t-talking about? We may have some similarities but that's just a coincidence" you stated but Yuzu just sighed "fine. I'll go look for him and ask him" she stood up and walked. Your eyes widen "woah woah woah! We have to wait for Yuya and Sora" you tried to make sure Yuzu wasn't going to put Yuto and Shun. Wherever they are. In jepordy if they were on a mission. Yuya and Sora soon cane back as Yuzu got up and looked at you telling that she had to go home as you said you had to go as well.

While you walked home your vision became blurry, your head started to hurt and you felt extremely hot. Panting you looked ahead and saw your house "I'm almost t-there" but before you could reach the door you collapsed on the harsh ground. The figure gasped as they walked out of the shadow showing none other than Yuto. He put a hand on your head feeling a burning sensation "idiot you're sick" he put a hand in your pockets to get your keys to open the door to your house and placing you on the bed. He got a cloth putting cool water on it  and placing it on your head "rest well" he whispered as he kissed your forehead and jumped out the window into the shadows muttering.

"I had a day without you.... And now my chest hurts"
