Caught Between A War

The day before

Tomorrow was the Maimi Championship and everyone has been training extra hard for the Championship "I'm so ready for tomorrow" you said as you flet your blood rushing through your body "YES!! HOT BLOODED!!!" Shuzo shouted (cue fire background🔥🔥) making the others sweat drop "we're definitely going to win this!" Yuya cheered as everyone smiled "how about some more training!?" Shuzo asked "NO!!" you were all tired enough throughout the whole week with your brain also about to burst knowing that Shun was with LDS ''maybe he's trying to find Academia?'' You questioned yourself not noticing that you had stated it aloud "what did you say?" Yuya asked. Yuzu remembered back to when she first saw Yuto..... He had mentioned Academia as well "can we talk (name)? Alone" you nod following Yuzu outside.

Once outside she looks at you "what's Academia?" She asks making your eyes widen "well Academia is where those original Fusion Summonors are from" you explained but Yuzu didn't think it was enough to satisfy her confusion "are they on a nearby island or something?" Your brain was GOING TO EXPLODE!! All the questions she had and you just wanted her to shut up but you couldn't say that, she was your friend "no, Academia is in another dimension" you answered as you rubbed your head. Yuzu finally understanding your situation said she was sorry and that they should go back inside to which you agreed to "so what were you guys talking about?" Sora asked "Yuzu was nervous so I simply gave her words of encouragement" you blurted out to see that Yuzu was more surprised than everyone else was "Yuzu you're actually worried?" Shuzo questioned his daughter "well um kinda?" It was more of a question than statement but whatever. Your mind wasn't paying attention to what they were saying "I'm going to do some research" you say and walk out of the room to go to a library where there were computers. You looked up the attendance of the students at LDS and there it was: Shun. But there was no Yuto so that was a relief but the biggest question to you was 'Why didn't Shun tell Yuto?' You kept searching Shun's profile seeing that he joined a few weeks after he most likely came to this dimension. You knew he was the one responsible for the attacks on the LDS students but you didn't know he was apart of it. You got and printed out the information also logging out of the computer walking to your house. You sit down on a chair where your desk is as you kept reading the information over and over in your head "if Shuns is part of LDS and Yuto doesn't know then........ Would Yuto be alone often?" Nodding your head to get the thought out of your head you sigh "life sucks" you mumbled suddenly hearing a knock on your window. You get the printed papers putting them in your drawer and open the window "hey" Yuto greeted "hi" you greeted as you hug him close not seeing how his face turned a slight pink "so you ready for the Championship tomorrow?" He asked you while you rubbed your head "no my head is about to explode" Yuto got worried....... Why was your heading going to explode?? He only knew one answer. You were thinking to much. Yuto took your hand and made you sit back on your chair as he begins to message your head "hmm" you hummed in gratitude "you shouldn't stress out so much. Your head in be in flames" Yuto scolded you "I know but I can't help it" you respond with a pouting face. Yuto stops messaging your head knowing your more calm "its best if you don't think to much about the Championship because you might be distracted during your matches and you need to wake up early so you don't rush yourself" yep... Yuto was watching out after you.

You always looked after one another no matter how bad the other's condition was. You smile at Yuto "thanks Yuto" he smiled back saying "no problem" you two looked at how the sky was clear. You thought back to the peaceful days in Heartland where there wasn't a war, where people could battle with Xyx summoning and to how the schools supported dueling "I miss Heartland" Yuto spoke out "I do to" you say back to your friend. Well friend wasn't really what you wanted to say now, it was more like you wanted to be more than friends. But wasn't he interested in Ruri? That's what made you stop from asking him out and it killed your heart that there was a chance that Yuto didn't return your feelings. But you didn't let that stop you from liking him. Shun knew of your 'little' crush on Yuto and he always pushed you or him into you/him which pissed you both off making Ruri laugh a lot.

You hug Yuto telling him that you had yo sleep so you could duel properly tomorrow and he agreed. He jumped out the window into the shadows as he always did, you waved to him one last time so you could take a shower and go to sleep..... Apparently your mind had a different idea, your mind decided to make you stay up for a while to think about the times in Heartland to Shun working with LDS to your feelings for Yuto. Life is so difficult.

Chapter 9 done!!!! Sorry it took so long I had to camp with a church group and no phones were allowed. But I'm here now so don't worry. Oh and Wattpads new update got me confused....
