Caught Between A War

Lancers Pt 5

The air had gotten tense. Each Obelisk Soldier had 2000 LP left and you were scared that Tsukikage  might get turned into a card next. Shun noticed how tense and how worried you looked "everything will be ok" Shun said while still holding his wound as he places his free hand on your  arm (the one that has the Duel Disk). You took a breath and looked at Shun with extreme worry, you knew that he was pushing himself just to defeat these Soldiers. 

"Let's go! My turn, DRAW!" Shingo drew a card as his eyes shimmered when he saw the card he drew. Then Shingo had set the Pendulum Scale with a Scale 1: Underworld Troupe-Devil Heel and Scale 8: Underworld Troup-Funky Comedian. As both Monsters from the Pendulum Scale appear onto the field you wondered which monster Shingo would summon "COME FORTH! LEVEL 7 UNDERWORLD TROUPE- BOG STAR!!" As the monster took a bow you were amazed by the the Level. Shingo raised his hand "once per turn, Big Star can add an "Underworld Scirpt" card to my hand!" Shingo announced as the card appeared in Big Star's hand. Shingo then activated the Underworld Scritp- Fantasy Magic that was added to his hand, Big Star opened the book and began to 'read' the script. The monster transformed into a costume as if he was acting out a role "BATTLE!" Shingo shouted as he attacked Triple-Bite Hound Dog using his monster. Big Star raised his hands as a blue pen appeared as he also put his arms in front of him causing a blue beam to shoot out of his hands, as Big Star attacked Triple-Bite Hound Dog on of the soilders lost 500 ATK points. You were a little less worried but you knew that by the smirks on the soilders' faces that something might go wrong.

"Weren't you watching, Intruder?" The one on the end at the right (your left) chuckled. Then the soilder mentioned that even if they did destroy their Hound Dog they must deal with the combo in response. Now you were filled with more worry then what left you "I didnt destroy them" Shingo said with a grin making you confused as you turn to Shun "what is he talking about? The soilder lost LP so the Hound Dog must've been destroyed" you said with confusion. Shun looked at you "Fanasty Magic let's the user have the card in his hand instead of being destroyed and going to the Graveyard" Shun explained. You made an 'o' sound and honestly... You were really impressed. Shingothen mentioned that Fusion Monsters go to your Extra Deck and not your hand which you knew and learned from the soilder to you caught a month or so ago.

"I activate a trap!"

A soilder announced "crap" you said as Shun's eyebrows furrowed. The soilder activated the trap "Ancient Gear Reverse Fusion" which allowed him to Special Summon a Fusion Monster and use it as Fusion Material from a monster that was left the field by the opponents effect. Everyone began to read what monster he would summon and how strong it would be.

"Level 9! Ancient Gear Ultimate Hound-Dog!"

When the monster appeared on the field the soilder told you that his monster was able to halve all of his opponents' LP. Yellow beams shot out of the monster as it hit you all excluding Serena. You held your ground but when you looked at Shun to make sure he was doing fine, he groaned in pain and looked like he was doing worst because of his wound "you alright Shun?" You asked with concern "I'm alright.  How are you?" He asked back as you replied "I'm not the one with the wound" Shun nodded as you both looked at the soilder with a death glare, "damn it" Shingo cursed under his breath. You and Shun stepped up "stay out of this!" Shun groaned out.

"You must take your own advice."

"Gongenzaka?" You turned to the familiar voice see that it was indeed Gongenzaka. Gongenzaka drewa card a bbq d the question of how many people would get into this duel stuck to your head. "Gongenzaka don't interfere!" You shouted at him as he gave you a smile "don't sorry about me" then the 2000 point penalty acitvated as Gongenzaka clenched his teeth as the pain coursed through his body. Shun looked at him ' Why would he take the penalty?' Shun asked himself.
