Taking care of you

You woke up in your bed and hot "ugh, what happened?" You asked no one in particular. Sighing you got out of bed but your head started to spin, you groan and sat down on your bed "you're sick so rest" a familiar voice said "Yuto" you called out as Yuto jumped in your room from the window. He walked towards you and pushed you down so you were laying "lay down I'll make you something to eat" he said walking out of your room down the staris.

'Wait! When did Yuto learn how to cook?'

Thinking this you put your hands under your head looking up at the ceiling "ugh now my head hurts!" You exclaimed not noticing that Yuto was making his way up the stairs. Your face was red for two reasons 1) you're sick and 2) you were thinking about how Yuto would be a nice father.

"Ugh!! I. Need. To. Stop. Thinking. About. Him!"

You slammed your head into your pillow between words not noticing that Yuto had heard what you said. 'Who's 'him'? Who is she thinking about? Is it Yuya!?' Questions ran through Yuto's head as he entered the door "are you alright (name)?" He asked seeing your red face "i-im fine" you replied. Yuto was worried if he wasn't the one the one (name) was talking about and if she was ok or not. You looked at the tray in his hands while Yuto was drifting off into another universe causing you to worry, you stood up despite your spinning head and walked towards Yuto "um hello? Earth to Yuto? You in there?" You said waving your hand in front of his face. Yuto was brought back to reality when he heard your voice calling to him "huh?" He was a little confused seeing you out of bed, instantly he told to sit in bed so he could feed you. You however didn't want to be fed by Yuto saying that you weren't a child anymore.

Sighing, Yuto told you to sit anyway so you listened and sat on your bed "say 'ah'" Yuto instructed you as you did so "ahh" you said. Yuto puts the food in your mouth as you quickly pulled back, this went on for not to long but long enough to where you wanted to just run and hide. Yuto goes back downstairs to wash the bowl "you should rest now" Yuto suggested while he was pushing you down on the bed so you could lay "alright fine" sighing in frustration you closed your eyes and Yuto jumped out from the window into the shadows. Ad he landed in the shadows he saw Yuya, Yuzu, Sora, and three other kids he didn't know walking into your house, turning around he went back to the hideout where he saw a waiting Shun "is she alright?" Shun asked worriedly "she's fine" Yuto responded as he took off his goggles and scarf.

Shun sighed as well knowing that you were ok "but how did she catch a high fever in the first place?" Shun thought out loud "I'm not sure but as long as she gets better" Yuto responded leaning on a wall like structure thinking about how you could have gotten sick and how you were slamming your head into your pillow. Shun was just worried, soon he got up and looked at Yuto "I'm going to walk around the city again" he said as Yuto nods and Shun walks off. The truth was Shun wasn't actually going yo take a walk around the city, he was going to a building where he was to receive information about an upcoming event.

You were surprised to see Yuya, Yuzu, Sora, Ayu, Tatsuya, and Futoshi "Hey guys" you greeted tiredly, Yuzu puts a hand on by our head "you're sick" she says taking her hand off. She offers you that she would make you something to eat but you decline saying that you already ate not telling her that Yuto had came by, they stay there to keep you company for a little while longer, you yawn as Yuya was trying to explain what and how Pendulum summoning worked "are you tired (name)?" Ayu asked as you nod "yeah I am" you responded "then what are we doing here!?" Yuzu shouted pushing everyone out of your room telling you to sleep well and she closed your door "come on let's go" Sora says running off.

As you slept Shun and Yuto came to check on you again checking your temper "she'll be fine in the morning" Shun stated with a sigh "thank goodness" Yuto said putting a cool, wet towel on your head making you shift a bit. Yuto and Shun held their breaths thinking they woke you up in the middle of your sleep, honestly they were scared if they did so. By experience. Shun remembered how all four of you (this was before the war and stuff) were around Shun and Ruri's house bored seeing how you fell asleep, Yuto remembered how he kept trying to shake you awake telling you that you guys had to head home. Which didn't end well for him because you woke up alright, but you were angry he woke you up and you..... Attacked him. Shun and Yuto laugh at the memory "we should head off soon" Shun said to the staring Yuto. Shun sighed "Yuto she'll be fine" Yuto turned and looked at him "I know but I can't help but worry" Yuto looked at your slightly red face from the fever.

"Yuto" Shun called out to his friend "yeah Shun?" Yuto replied, Shun and Yuto jumped out the window and went to the hideout "what are your feelings towards (name)?" Shun finally asked "w-what do you m-mean?" Yuto's face was slightly pink, thank god for the scarf to hide it "don't lie, I know you think about her" Shun smirked.

"Remember what happened after Kite's duel?"

Yuto slightly glared at his bird loving friend "how can I forget?" He mumbled making Shun chuckle a bit "well let's rest for now. We will continue our search for Ruri and the Fusion tomorrow" Yuto nod and lays down looking at the star filled sky "hey Shun? Remember how we all went star gazing that one time?" Yuto looked at Shun seeing how Shun slightly smiled at the thought "of course I remember. How can I forget us sleeping under the stars all together?" Yuto smiled as he thought how you all looked at how the stars shined. The two teens grew tired and started to close their eyes as happy memories swimmed threw their minds.
