Hide Your Love Away: book two

Chapter 16

(Ringo)

We are done filming the movie but there is a group of reporters here doing interviews about the movie and our next album. Paul and John are getting asked the majority of the questions and when they ask us a question as I group I just agree with George or something, no one ever wants to hear what the drummer in the back has to say. so I sit with my palm against my cheek like normal.

"Ringo can I... RIngo" A reporter asks removing me from  my thoughts. 

"Sorry love, go ahead." I look at the reporter with big glasses and short brown hair. 

"Um... Ringo can I ask how things are with your... boyfriend?"

"Wow... everyone remembers eh?" I look at Dylan sitting at the side of the room, with a red face. "I think he's embarrassed by me, but things are good with us. I'm still into boys if that's what you were asking but...yeah. I love him more than ever." 

I hear a crowd of awhs and then more reporters start asking questions, "Ringo fans have said they've seen one of your famous rings on his fingers does that mean anything? Is it true you gave him one of your rings?"

"Um yeah... I gave him that ring when we first met. Before I knew he would be coming on the tour and back to England with us, it was a promise I would still be with him and I would see him again and... " I look at him and he nods his head. "It's turned into an engagement type of thing." 

"Can you really get married?"

"Not legally but..." Reporters start asking all these questions that I'm not used to, one after another giving me no time to think. 

"They can't legally get married which is a shame. But spiritually they are already like one person. Dylan has been a great friend to all of us." Paul answers.

"Yeah... and the support they have gotten from fans has been amazing." George replies. "It's been really great. I know that they were so worried about any negativity." 

"It really has been amazing. All of the support, for all of us, its been great. I know our girls appreciate it and everyone's been understanding of us needing privacy. There has been a lot going on the past little while for all of us and its been hard but the continuous support is beyond what we would have hoped for." John finishes. I look at all my friends and they smile at me . 

"Ringo is there anything you want to say to your fans."

"Um... I'm sorry to any girls who's hearts I may have broken." the boys laugh, "No really...In all honesty I just want to say thank you to everyone and I hope that you continue to support me and my little apple pie and our music and I hope nothing changes in the relationships between us and the fans." The reporters start clapping and then move on to the other boys and their relationships and the movie. Then Brian tells all the reporters that it's time for us to get back to our much needed vacation but we take some pictures before they go. 

"Ringo? Can I get a picture of you and Dylan?" The female reporter from before asks. I smile and  call Dylan over and she takes a picture of the two of us. "Thank you so much. I wish you guys the best."
