As we were waiting for Lexi I walked up to a stall of a beautiful black horse. I opened the stall door and walk up the the horse. The mare looked at me and snorted. I set my hand on her nose and patted. I looked at the boys.
"Meet Storm, my best friend." I said.
The boys, they looked at her in awe.
"I can't believe you got one that looks just like the on you had back then what was his name? Pistol? Trigger?" Said Bucky
"Sniper." I mumbled
"You had a horse named sniper?" asked Sam .
"Yeah, he carried my sniper rifles so the name fit."
"How many sniper rifles did you have?"
"Um...."
"She had alot thanks to Howard." Said Steve.
Sam looked at me wide eyed while I just grinned.
"Come on Lexi is probably waiting." I said.
I grabbed Storm's halter and put it on her and walked her out of the stall. We all continued to walk out of the barn to see Lexi holding three horses fully tacked.
One of the horses stood about 16 hands high (1 hand is 4 inches) with a golden coat with one white patch on his belly. The horse's name was Zeus.
The horse standing next to Zeus stood about 15.4 hands high with a white coat and dark brown patches across his body. His name was Birdie.
The last horse stood about 15.8 hands high and was all white. His name was Warrior.
I walked up to Lexi, taking the three horses and walked back to the boys. I handed Zeus to Steve, Birdie to Sam and Warrior to Bucky. I helped them n their horses and gave each of them some pointers on their horses.
I turned around looking for Storm and saw here grazing on some grass. I whistled for her. Her head rose and trotted up to me. I pulled myself onto her back even without tack.
None of the boys looked very comfortable. I started to walk storm towards a trail and the boys son figured out and fallowed.
