When I was able to stand again, I started towards te base, overcome with despair. He was gone. I lost him. Again.
I trudged into the base and suddenly tripped over a hammer. "What the ..." I stared at it and realized it was Thor's hammer. I sighed, knowing what the expect.
"Hello, random mortal." I turned to see the tall man with short hair and a strange musky scent that smelled godly.
"Hi, Thor."
"Do I know you?"
"No, but I know you." I said in a sad tone.
"What is wrong, young one?"
I shook my head, refusing to cry in front of a god. "My ... friend is gone."
"What happened?" He became a little symathetic.
"Bucky ... he was ..." I couldn't manage to finish the sentance. I didn't want to admit it. He was gone. And it was my fault. "I can't ..." I sunk to the ground and hugged my knees.
Thor was out of his league with a crying girl and he knew that. "Steve! Tony!" He shouted.
The two boys ran in upon their names being called. "What is it?"
I didn't want to look them in the eyes. "Bucky ... he ..."
"What's wrong?" Steve knelt down next to me, worried for his friend. "What happened to him?"
"He was captured ... by Hydra."
His jaw dropped yet no sound would come out of his mouth.
Tony stared at me sypathetically, making me wince. "Don't give me that look. I don't want your sympathy."
"What do we do?" Thor asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" I spat. "We go rescue him."
"How exactly do you plan to do that? You don't know where he is. You have no idea how many men are on their base. You don't know the danger." Tony said to me.
"I don't care!" I got to my feet. "It's either you're with me or against me! We're going to get him. No. Matter. What."
"I like this girl. She's something else, unlike you mortals." Loki walked in on our conversation.
I stared at the god of mischief. His eyes met mine and I saw something flash in them. Before I could think I grabed my hidden dagger and raised it only to meet with Loki's. I glared at the god and his free hand drew another dagger and I grabbed his wrist.
"She is quick, too."
I continued to glare at the god. He only smirked back.
He then jumped back pulling his wrist out of my grasp as if something burned him. I looked at my hand and saw if glowing red.
"She is powerful too." He commented rubbing his wrist.
"Why is this making me unconfortable." I hear Tony say in the background.
"Because you are overprotective, you don't like Loki one bit, and you are most likely sober." I answer not missing a beat.
Everyone in the room looks at me with shock.
"What?"
They all shake their heads in unison kind of creeping me out.
"Whatever, Look Bucky has been kidnapped and I need to go help him." I say turning to go to my room to get weapons.
"Wait, You need to help him?" Says Tony. "You don't have any form of protection. The last time you delt with Hydra you got shot in the shoulder."
"I'm going to help him whether you like it or not. I'm not just going to abandon him."
Loki and Thor stared at me. They looked at eachother and nodded.
"What?"
