"What?" I asked the two gods.
"Would you happen to be called the Pheonix?" Loki asked.
"Yeah why?"
The brothers didn't say anything. Loki just grabbed my wrist and slipped on a bracelet. I pull my arm away and look at the new acessory that the god of mischief gave me.
It was beautiful. It looked as if they took a bonfire and shoved it into the metal. I admired it for several moments when I saw a bird fly accross the bracelet. I jump and look at the two gods.
"What was that?"
"The item at that will protect you, Pheonix." Say Thor.
I stare at the god. "Huh?" was my intelectual answer.
"Himdal has been keeping an eye out for the Pheonix. There has been many who have tried to be her but never succeded. She has a true...host. She would only show herself to the true one. She showed herself to you. You are the true host of the Pheonix."
"She? Host? True? Pheonix? What?"
"Tell me my dear, have you ever died?" asked Loki
"What kind of question is that?" Asked Pietro
I glared at the mutant.
"Yes, but what does that have to do with anything?"
"That is one sign that you are the true Pheonix." Thor cuts in. "Himdal has been watching you since you were a meer child, you have shown all the signs of a Pheonix."
"and those are?"
"You had 'bad luck' as a child."
"Thats a sign?" Asks Tony
"It's more of most Pheonix learn to survive on their own, the don't have someone guiding them through life. They are survivors if you will." Says Loki.
"But Howard adopted me. I didn't grow up on my own." I cut in.
"Did he ever make a path for you and if he did, did you ever follow it?"
I shake my head no.
"There you go."
"Ok what are the other signs?"
"Unique powers, sense of loyalty to those you care for, you can endure high amounts of pain or tourture, you are reborn, other dialects come easy for you, as well as most weapon knowledge, hot temper, faster healing and can sense when people mean you harm and so on."
I stare at the god of mischife.
"You just described Erin's whole personality in a sentence." said Steve.
"Alot of these signs are hard to find out without there being a war. Your last great war made it eaiser to find you. Since you were a...P.O.W? ....Yeah a P.O.W we could see about half of the signs there."
"So you just sat by while Erin was being tourtured?" Nat accused.
"We didn't want to but we had to see if she would be reborn. That is the biggest sign." Says Thor.
"How does this thing work?" I ask raising my arm with the bracelet.
"It take years of training to be a Pheonix."
"But Bucky needs me now."
