Back to London. Finally, was all Cassie could think. They had been here for far too long, she needed to be home already! She needed to get back to the restaurant, back to her normal life! But it wasn't normal anymore. Not since Liam came along.
"Carseat is all set up, our bags are in the car and we are ready to go," Ben said as he juggled his keys in one hand and held Liam with the other. "Is my wonderful family ready?" Cassie put on her coat, then got a leash on Hunter and nodded.
As they walked out of the house, Ben asked, "Did you call your mum? Does Kelly know we'll be at her graduation?" She shook her head and told him, "No, but mom thinks she's catching on. When do you think we'll be back home? I really want to check on the restaurant."
Ben looked to his his watch, which Liam reached for and covered the numbers with his tiny hands. The watch was shiny, so of course he liked it. "Hey, silly boy," Ben chuckled, as he got his wrist away enough to check the time.
"We'll be back around five or so," he said. He put Liam in his car seat, then took off his watch and gave it to him. Liam squealed in happiness and immediately put the watch in his mouth. "No, no that's not what you do with it. Here."
He took the watch, then slipped it on Liam's wrist. It was obviously way too large, but his son smiled nonetheless and gurgled a laugh. Ben chuckled and kissed his head, before shutting the door and getting into the driver's side.
"Alright," he said, while taking Cassie's hand and lacing their fingers together, "let's get home." He started up the engine and took off. For most of the ride, Liam was awake and obsessed with his daddy's watch, but for the last of the ride, he was fast asleep with Hunter curled up in the seat right next to him.
Ben looked in the rearview mirror to check on him and smiled when he saw him sleeping. "Awe, he's so bloody adorable when he's sleeping," Ben quietly said. Cassie turned and looked at Liam and gave a small smile, but not a sincere one.
"Hey," Ben said, as he took her hand, "we're going to find another psychiatrist when we get there, okay? Do you have your, erm...pills?" She dug through her bag and pulled out her anti-depressants.
Ben hated the fact that she was taking those. He knows what happens if she stops, she becomes even more depressed and has to go to other medications to help that. It's an ongoing cycle. Dr. Ramsey insisted it would help, but again, Ben was skeptical.
"Did you take one this morning?" He asked. When she nodded, he asked, "And how do you feel?" She shrugged. "Okay, I guess," she told him. "I held him for a little bit this morning and didn't feel much of anything about it. I guess that's okay."
Not feeling anything isn't exactly what I would call "okay", he said to himself. I suppose it's an improvement. He kept his eyes on the road, while checking on Liam every few minutes in the mirror. Cassie eventually fell asleep and he was starting to think they had the right idea.
He's been exhausted lately between work and taking care of Liam. He's been able to keep Cassie there with Liam while he's at work without having to worry. It was a huge relief, but still tiring when he has to come home and isn't completely able to relax.
A few hours later, Ben was pulling up into the driveway of the home they've missed for five months. "Alright my darlings, we're home," he quietly announced, as he gently shook Cassie awake. She whined and stretched...and smiled when she saw the house.
Ben smirked when he saw her smile, then turned and saw Liam letting out a tiny yawn, but still sleeping. Hunter had woken up and immediately started wagging his tail when he saw the familiar house. Ben and Cassie both got out of the car, let Hunter out before he could get anymore excited than he already was, and then started unloading everything. Once the bags were out, Ben got Liam.
"Come on, big boy," he whispered, as he carefully picked him up without waking him. He walked him into the house and set him in the armchair in the corner of the room. Very quietly, he and Cassie brought in the bags and boxes that they took with them.
"I don't know why in the hell we didn't set up a crib before we left," Ben said, as he hauled up Liam's crib to the nursery. It took him a little while, but he eventually got it set up, then got Liam from the armchair and set him in the crib. Of course, Hunter the Protector followed them and put himself in front of the crib, where he will remain for the rest of the night, unless Ben takes Liam anywhere.
After putting Liam's teddy bear in front of him and pulling up the blanket, Ben walked into the bedroom and let out a large sigh. "I am about ready to sleep for the next century," he said, as he plopped down on to the bed.
"Well, we'll be unpacking for the next century if we don't get it done tonight," Cassie told him. She got out one of the boxes and started unpacking some of the family photos. Ben reached out to her and took her hand. "Come here," he said, as he pulled her to the bed.
She dragged her feet and said, "Ben, we need to unpack." He hummed in acknowledgment, but quickly pulled her on to the bed with him. "Ben, please--." He stopped her complaining with a kiss and ran his fingers through her hair.
"You know," he said, as he placed kisses down her neck, "it has been five," kiss, "long," kiss, "months," kiss, "since I've been buried deep into your perfectly tight pussy. I'm sure it's even tighter now. Shall we find out?"
He started unbuttoning her jeans as he kissed across her collarbone, but she gently pushed him off of her. "I'm not...I'm not in the mood," she told him. He looked at her oddly and said, "But it's been five months. You're telling me you don't have any pent up orgasms?"
She slowly shook her head. "Honestly...sex has kind of been the last thing on my mind," she admitted. "With everything I've been going through, I haven't really had time to think about it." He nodded and pushed her hair back out of her face.
"I understand," he told her. "Do you want to have sex, though? I mean, now that you're thinking about it?" She shrugged and told him, "Maybe...but I'm not exactly horny right now." He squinted his eyes at her and said, "Let me see if I can fix that."
He quickly got up on his knees and slowly took off his jacket. This was actually making her laugh a little bit. He then took off his shirt, spun it on his hand while moving his hips around like he was dancing, then tossed it across the room.
Cassie was full on laughing now. He then got off of the bed, turned his back to her, then hooked his thumbs into his jeans. He pulled down one side, then the other, and skillfully rolled his hips as he pushed them down.
Once they were at his ankles, he put his hands on his hips and moved his them around, as he turned towards Cassie with a goofy look on his face. He continued to act silly because it was making her laugh and he hasn't heard that beautiful sound in such a long time.
"Come here," she laughed, as she held her hands out to him. He goofily danced his way over back to the bed, then got on top of her. He quirked an eyebrow at her, then asked, "What? Is this not turning you on?"
She shook her head, then chuckled, "You are just so adorkable. I love you." He broke out into a huge grin and said, "I love you, too, baby. Now, I've been patient for five months, but I don't think I can contain myself any longer. You're going to have to check out the restaurant tomorrow because I am not letting you out of this bed until we make that time up."
