Part 6

(CARTER'S POV)
Johnny and I swam away from the gang for about 10 minutes and when we got tired we swam up to the sand and we rested. The gang was no where in sight because the lake curved a bit. "I never realized how tiring swimming was" Johnny said. "I know I'm out of breath" I said back. "So why didn't you wanna play with the gang CJ?" Johnny asked. "Well I'm the only girl, and knowing the gang, they would make me do something inappropriate or something and I know Trey hates that" I told him. "Yeah we usually only play those kinds of games with girls but usually I sit out anyway" he added. "Why" I asked him. "Well it's kinda embarrassing to talk about"he told me. "You can tell me Johnny I won't laugh at you"he looked embarrassed already. "Promise you won't laugh...I've never told anybody this." "I promise Johnny" I told him. "Ok well...its just...all the guys have already kissed girls and some have...you know...and well...I haven't even ever k-kissed anyone yet." Johnny told me. "It's ok Johnny I haven't either." "You haven't?" "Nope not once...is that surprising?"I asked him. "Well kinda, your just so p-pretty and I t-thought you might h-have." He said while blushing. I blushed too. "You think I'm pretty?" "Just about the prettiest gal I've ever seen" I felt my face get hot. I know I was bright red. He just smiled at me and his cheeks turned pink. He looked cute though. It was silent for a moment. "Ilikeyoujohnny" I mumbled really fast. "Maybe say that a little slower CJ" he laughed. "I l-like you" I said slower this time. He just smiled and said "I like you too" This time I smiled.

(JOHNNY'S POV)
She smiled at me when I told her I liked her. I smiled back and moved I little closer to her. She looked down at her hands in her lap. I grabbed one of her hands and helped her up. "Come on I know a place we can...talk." I told her. She followed me back into the water and we swam in the direction of my secret place. It wasn't that far of a swim. When we got there she looked shocked. I don't think it's that cool anymore because I've been there so much. It's just a small cave in the water and when you go in theres a small beach area. We went into the cave and sat on the sand. She looked around then at me and smiled. "This is so cool Johnny...how'd you find this place." She asked. "I just went for s swim one day and found it...I come here to think all the time, I've never brought anyone here though." I said. "Well it's awesome" she said and scooted closer to me. She laid down on her stomach in the sand and played with the shells in the shallow water. All I could think was man she looks good in that swimsuit. I was starring at her like a complete idiot and she caught me. "Whatcha looking at Johnny" she said in a flirty tone. "Uh I was looking at the uh um the thing over the uh..." "It's okay" she interrupted by putting her finger over my mouth. I felt super embarrassed. We spent another 10 minutes or so just talking about random stuff. She was sitting right by my side, our shoulders touching. Then she laid her head on my shoulder. "I'm getting tired Johnnycakes" she said yawning. I just put my hand on her head and said "Me too we might wanna think about going back now." I said. "Wait" she said lifting her head off my shoulder. "One more thing before we go." We looked into each other's eyes for a quick second before she began to lean in. I hesitated for a second but then began to lean in too. Our lips touched for only a moment then she backed off. I then quickly grabbed her head and slammed my lips back on to hers. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I put my hands around her waist. I felt my face get hot but I never wanted to let go of her. That's was until we heard someone yell "Johnnnnnnyyy Carrrterrr where are you guys!"
