Part 7

(JOHNNY'S POV)
"Johnnnnnnyyy Carrrrterrrrr where are you guys!" It was Dally. We both quickly pulled away from eachother and swam out of the cave to see Dally right outside of it. "Uhh hey Dal" I said. "Hey guys...have fun in there?" He asked. "Aww shut up Dal what do you want?" I said to him. "You have been gone for almost an hour the gang told me to go look for you...I don't blame you for taking long though...usually it takes me a while to have s-" "Okay Dally! We didn't do anything like that in there." Carter interrupted. "Sure you didn't" I punched his arm hard. "Let's go back now" I said.

(CARTER'S POV)
After Dally came and interrupted our kiss and accused us of...well you know, we headed back to where the gang and Trey were. When we got there is was pretty dark so we all just headed back to the Curtis home. When we got there Johnny introduced us to Darry who was home from work early. Then we all sat and talked about our day. "So why don't you tell everyone about you and Johnny's little secret cave." Dally mentioned. I told them about the cave. Everyone thought it was so cool. "Why don't you tell us what a you were doing in there aka each other." Dally said. Johnny punched him again. Everyone looked at us with wide eyes. Trey looked really angry. "Come on Dal we didn't do nothing like that in there and you know it!" Johnny yelled. "CJ can I talk to you outside!" Trey said to me angrily. We went outside to talk. "Did you have sex with Johnny in that damn cave Carter!" He yelled at me. "No I promise we didn't have sex but..." "But what!" "We kissed" I said shyly. "And you promise that's it?" Trey asked. "Of course Trey, I promise."I said. "I trust you CJ but just don't get caught up in that kinda stuff ok? Your my little sister and I have to protect you." He told me and hugged me. "I know" I said and hugged him back." "So are you guys dating?" he asked me. "I don't know" I said and we walked back inside.

(JOHNNY'S POV)
Carter and Trey went outside and the whole gang was just looking at me waiting for me to say something. "We didn't do anything! Well..."  "Well what!" Two-bit said. "Well uh we uh k-kissed a little...well more than a little...a lot." I said smiling like an idiot. "Johnny's got a girlfriend, Johnny's got a girlfriend!" Sodapop chanted. "We aren't dating, well I don't know if we are." I said looking down. Then Carter and Trey walked back in. " So y'all made out" Steve said. "How'd you know?" She asked him. "Johnnycakes here told us" he said.

(CARTER'S POV)
I looked at Johnny and he was smiling at me like an idiot. I laughed. "Uh yeah we did" I looked at Trey. He nodded at me. "Can you both come outside for another sec" Johnny asked. "Yeah" we said in unison. We went outside and I was confused about Johnny was doing. "Is everything ok Johnny" Trey asked. "Yeah I just have a question for you Trey." Johnny said. I asked him if he wanted me to leave but he just said no. "Well what's your question" Trey said. " I want to date Carter" he said. "And I want your permission first" I looked at Trey and he was thinking. "Yeah you can date her...just don't hurt her or I'll hurt you okay" Trey said. "Ok I would never hurt her" we looked at each other and hugged. "So will you be my girl CJ" he asked. "Of course" I said. He gave me a short peck on the lips. "And don't do that in front of me gosh" we heard Trey say. We all laughed and walked inside, me and Johnny hand in hand. When we open the door the whole gang was sitting against the door listening. "Eavesdropping weren't you" Johnny said. "Johnny's got a girl friend" the whole gang chanted. We both smiled at each other. "Yeah he does but she has to leave it's getting late now" Trey said. We looked at the clock it said 10:47 so I gave Johnny a kiss and we left to the sound of the gang cheering and whistling.

(TREY'S POV)
On the walk over me and Carter were silent. We got to our house and noticed our parents car in the driveway. We looked at each other nervously and walked into the house. Carter ran upstairs and I stayed down stairs and got beat up for being out to late. Then I saw my dad walking up the stairs to Carters room. My heart sank. I didn't know what to do so I ran after him. "DONT YOU HURT HER!!" I yelled at him and jumped on his back. He punched me hard and I blacked out for a second. When I woke up I ran to Carters room. She was standing there with her switchblade in her hand...she was crying. My dad was laying on the floor...dead.
