(TREYS POV)
After getting by jumped by those Socs Carters face was blank the whole rest of the walk. I noticed she had a mark on her neck. "Did he do that to you?" I said pointing to the mark. "No Johnny did." She said laughing. My eyes widened "What!" I shouted. "I'm kidding Trey...yeah that damn Soc did it." She told me with an angry look on her face. "I wouldn't kiss her that hard" Johnny said laughing. "Sure you wouldn't" I said rolling my eyes. "I would not! I want to but I wouldn't." He said laughing again. Carter was laughing too. "You say that now but trust me you would and you will." I said. "Okay look we are here now, let's not talk about that now." Carter said loudly to change the subject. We got to the drive in and crawled under the fence. We met up with the gang and watched a movie.

(CARTERS POV)
After the movie was over we all just sat around and talked for a bit. Dally went off and flirted with some girls and when he got back he noticed the mark that the Soc left on my neck. "No luckily Trey was there to help otherwise he would have" I said bumping Trey's shoulder. "Johnny didn't come to the rescue?" Steve asked. " hey I would of if I could of!" Johnny yelled. We all laughed. "We're just kidding with you Johnnycakes...we know you would have" Steve told him.

(JOHNNY'S POV)
So the movie was over and the drive in was starting to clear out so we all decided to head to the lot. When we got there nobody was around, even though it wasn't that late. We all just sat around and talk for a little bit. "Hey Johnnycakes can I talk to you for a sec" I heard Carter whisper in my ear. She walked away. I followed her. "Where you going Johnny?" Soda asked as I was waking away. "I'll be right back don't worry I've got my blade" I said. "I'm gonna talk to Carter for a sec" "make sure you protect her kid, I trust you!" Trey yelled as I walked away. I gave him two thumbs up. I ran over to the street. I couldn't see Carter anywhere. "Carter...Carter where are you!" I yelled for her. "Over here Johnny" she said from behind a building. I ran over to her. "What'd you wanna talk about doll?" I asked. "Well...I wanna go on date, like a real date just you an me." She said. "Well okay baby, whatever you wanna do I'm all for...where would we go?" I asked her. "I don't know maybe just eat something and go to the lake or something." She said. "Yeah that would be great... How bout we go to dinner just you and me then we go to the lake for a bit...our secret place." I told her. "Yeah can we go tomorrow?" She asked. "Yeah I'll pick you up at 7:00" She hugged me and kissed me. The kiss was full of passion, more passion than any other kiss we shared. When we finally broke apart we headed back to the lot hand in hand.
