Hidden Romance

~Nine

Throughout the rest of October and November, I began working at a nice clothing store called Ross's down the street.

When December finally came I was working evenings at Ross's, going to school in the morning and hanging out with Chloe on the weekends and sometimes during the week.

She was also working during the evenings, so we had together off at the same time. She was working at a fast food place called Mike's Burgers.

With working almost daily and a little help from Chloe I was almost able to afford a car.

So Chloe and I decided to check out some car dealerships this weekend and have her stay at my house the weekend like every weekend.

Friday, when I just got off work, I walked outside to see Chloe. There as always to pick me up from work.

I couldn't appreciate her enough for the things she has Done for me.

"Hey!" I say hugging her, and getting into her car.

"So, tomorrow..." She began, "what kind of car are you looking for?" She asks starting her car.

"Not sure yet." I say taking a drink out of her water bottle.

She pulls up into my drive way but we sit there for a moment.

"Ava invited us to a hokey game the first day of winter break." She looks over at me. "And maybe staying at her house for a little. It's technically her parents but her parents are in Hawaii for vacation."

"Sounds amazing!" I say.

"It's a big house with only 3 rooms. So me and you are gonna have to share a room, is that okay?"

"Of course, I mean we share an attic together every weekend."

"True."

We get out and head to my room. Since she came over every weekend, I gave her, her own separate section in my dresser.

After getting into pj's we head up into the attic, "how many days are we staying?" I ask her.

"I'm not sure yet" she says, "up to you." She smiles.

"We can stay until we get bored." I laugh.

She laughs as well.

"You took off for winter break right?" She asks me.

"Yes, did you?"

She nods.

Winter break started in two weeks, and I absolutely Couldn't wait, I get to spend Christmas with my best friend and other Friends.

We get to go to a cool hockey game, spend an amazing time at Ava's with Ava, Mia and Chloe.

Chloe and I were still trying to decide if we were staying there till Christmas Day or not.

But after discussing it with her, we decided to leave Ava's the 23rd so that me and her could spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together alone.

Everything was planned and I just couldn't wait. Which would be the hard part.. Waiting.
