We bought the apartment and finally got everything of mine and hers into the moving van.
We moved a lot of our stuff into the apartment and stuff that we didn't want, we gave to the local thrift store or threw away.
The apartment looked great. It had more of a plain look to it, but it was beautiful.
After we finished settling in, we both sat down on the couch to watch some tv.
I couldn't really focus on the tv though, my mind kept wandering and thinking about how far me and Chloe had come from when I first moved in.
It's absolutely amazing and such a blessing to even have her and the friends I have into my life.
Im so incredibly happy and I don't know what to think of it.
"Sam." She broke my thoughts.
"Yes?"
"I just got a call from Ava." She said, "She said she she needs us at her place asap."
Getting into her car, as quickly as possible we drove over to Ava's.
On the way there, it began raining and storming hard, so we ran inside soaked.
We didn't bother knocking, we just walked in. Near the fire place sat Ava, holding something.
"Ava?" I asked, I was really confused and sort of worried. "What's going on?"
"One door closes and another one opens" Ava says. By now, I was really getting worried.
Ava stood up and faced us. In her hands held a baby.
"Who is that?" Chloe asked her.
"My sister was in a terrible car accident." She began, "and she was pregnant. By the time the baby was born, she had passed. And the baby was given to me."
"What do you want us to do?" I asked.
"I can't take care of her." She said blankly, "I just can't." She bang to cry. "And I would feel so blessed if you guys would take her, I mean at least I would still see her as my niece."
She handed the baby into my arms and I looked up at Chloe.
Chloe knew exactly what I was thinking and said, "We'll take her."

Ava gave us pretty much all of the baby stuff and stuffed it into her tiny car.
Ava promised to bring the crib and everything else down in the morning.
On our way back, I couldn't help but smile. Growing up, I always talked about having kids and with Chloe, I really couldn't have kids.
Ava was blessed to have us take her, but I felt like we were the real blessed ones.
"What should we name her?" Chloe asked.
"Not sure." I said. "We better think fast because we have papers and shit to fill out tomorrow morning on her."
"Raven's cute" Chloe randomly puts out.
"I love that!" I say, trying not to be loud.
So it was settled, the baby's name was Raven.
I liked it. It was very unique and cute and it fit her.
