Hidden Romance

~Eighteen

I have to be honest, I cried myself to sleep that night.

But as the weeks went by it got better. Living with Chloe now meant being closer to her and being around her more often.

Yesterday was my graduation, I was really hoping my parents would've came, but they never did.

In fact, I heard that they are moving out of the house pretty soon, and moving back into their old house.

As soon as I got off work, I drove to Chloe's.

As I pull into her drive way, I see as she keeps hitting the front door.
I get out of my car and go near her.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"She locked me out and won't give me a reason why!" She says.

"Is Sam out there with you?!" She shouts.

"Yes mom!"

"Okay, you guys can come in now." She says.

"What the fuck." Chloe breathes out.

The door is unlocked from the inside but as soon as Chloe opens the door, we walk into a  pitch black room with no sound.

I reach over and turn on the lights.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouts.

I was confused. It was no ones birthday.

"What's this?" I ask.

"It's you and Chloe's graduation party!" Chloe's mom says.

I felt so loved. I've never had a party thrown for me.

There wasn't a lot of people here, but it still was great.

There was Chloe's mom, Ava and Mia were there, Chloe's grandparents were there and a few others we knew.

There was a cake with a picture of me and Chloe hugging on it.

There were presents. And balloons everywhere. This was amazing.

After food and cake was eaten, presents were opened and everyone was settled down, me and Chloe told everyone about me and her relationship.

Everyone was real supportive.
Ava even said she had her suspicions.

I've never felt so happy.

After a few hours, everyone left and Chloe and I helped clean everything up.

I hugged Chloe's mom from behind, "thank you so much!"

"Of course darling!" She says kissing me on my cheek.

Chloe's mom went to bed early while Chloe and I went to her room to do whatever.

She plopped down on her bed and grabbed her laptop.

"Whatcha doin?" I asked sitting beside her.

"Apartments!" She looks at me.

We place a bid on this apartment that we both wanted.

A few moments later the owner of the apartment calls her on her cell.

She talks for awhile and then hangs up the phone.

"Well?" I ask.

"We got it!" She shouts.

I get up fast and hug her. "This is amazing!" I shout.

I let go of her and hold my face, "could this day get any better?!" I ask.

"Ahaha." Chloe asks.
She suddenly starts going thro her clothes.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"About to get a shower." She says, she then stops and smirks at me, "wanna join?"

I jump up, "this day just keeps getting better and better."

She laughs while I grab clothes and join her in the bathroom.
