You slowly come out of the cave and see Jace and Sebastian fighting while Izzy is unconscious. Your heart squeezes at the sight of Izzy like this, but then you hear shouting. You run as fast as you can to see if you can change the outcome, but you know you can't. Your breath is sawing in and out of your lungs when you reach them. Jace says something, but your ears are ringing and you can't hear what he says. You try to touch him, but it's like you're a ghost. He doesn't react to your touch and that's when Jace stabs him. You shriek and catch him as he falls. You hold him close to you and sob before someone pulls you away. You scream and fight for one more second with him, but they throw you to your knees. You look up to see Jace look you in the eyes as he shakes his head. He drags you to Idris where Izzy and Maryse turn their backs on you and you hold your head sobbing as your heart breaks again.
