I get home and that's when I notice the letter left on my dresser. She placed it so carefully that I wouldn't see it until now. I slowly walk over and pick it up before sitting on my bed and opening it. Tears prick my eyes and fall as I read the note she left me.

Please don't be sad Izzy. I've known since before I left Idris that Lilith was bringing Sebastian back. I didn't let myself hope though and you know why that is. If you're reading this then I'm already with him. Don't blame yourself for me leaving. I love you my parabati and one day we will be together again until then take care of yourself. If you find yourself on the opposite side of me that's fine, but I won't hurt you and I won't let you be hurt. Until I see you again.

I crumple up the note before sobbing and curling into myself. She knew when she left we would be on opposite sides, but it didn't faze her. I hope we can be reunited once again and that both of us will be okay.
