You walk into the kitchen where your children are waiting and give them a smile to put them at ease. You feed them their breakfast and eat yours while keeping an eye on them. When they're finished Sebastian comes over and lays his head on your lap looking at you with such innocent eyes. You know there is no way he will turn out like his father because he has you to love him. You run your hand through his hair as Jessamine lays her head on your shoulder causing you to smile.

"Hey guys guess who's coming over today?"

"Is it grandpa? Momma tell me it's grandpa!"

"Yes it's grandpa. You're both so smart. Speaking of I think he's outside why don't you go say hi?"

They squeal before taking off to the front door and throwing it open. You smile following them and see your father. He smiles when he sees your smile and kneels in front of your children. He ruffles their hair before speaking to them.

"Hey can you let me speak to your mom alone for a few minutes? We can play after that."

"Sure!"

They take off outside and your father brings you to your library. You sit down in a chair and pull your feet to your chest as he takes his seat. He sighs before a package appears in front of you. You frown and he takes a deep breath before speaking.

"My father sent me these. He thought you would want them after how you reacted."

You open the box and tears prick your eyes. They fall as you close the box and your father holds you. You quickly stop your tears and take a deep breath. Your father pulls away in surprise before nodding.

"So he thought I would want the bones of my true love? The bones of my dead husband?"

"Daddy is dead?" You turn around in surprise to see Sebastian and Jessamine.

"Seb and Jessie I guess it's time I told you about your father. Come sit in front of me." They do as told and your father ruffles your hair causing you to give a small smile even though you want to cry again.

"I know you've heard a name whispered around us in Idris, but you've never known what the name was or what it meant. Your father is Sebastian Morgenstern and he did some very bad things. I did too because I loved him and he loved me. That's why the others shun me. I was a part of something truly horrible and I was married to a man who almost took out all the shadowhunters."

"That's okay momma. You miss daddy don't you?"

"I do. Do you want to go with me to put his body in his grave?"

"Yeah."

You smile as your father picks up the box and you grab both of their hands before leaving. You walk until you get to the cemetery and walk to his headstone. The children let go of your hands and you dig up the soil before laying the box in the ground. The children stand and watch what you do as you are finally able to bury Sebastian Morgenstern.
