When we arrived to a beautiful building deep in the woods about five miles away, wolves were crawling everywhere. I started to have a miniature anxiety attack, I was claustrophobic but it only appeared on rare occasions. Like now, it was like a single yellow bead trying to blend in with black ones. We stepped out of the car and Alec grabbed my hand. Our fingers intwined together and I squeezed his hand. Everyone's eyes were on us.

"You okay?" Alec mumbled in my ear.

I nodded and felt my eyes wonder over to thousands of people watching me.

"Smile, love, it looks like you're a deer caught in headlights." Alec teased me.

I did as I was told and gave everyone a smile.

'Make a good impression Lexie.' My wolf said.

'Oh look who's talking.' I say back.

We entered a beige room with seats everywhere and food steamed throughout the air. My mouth began to water at the thought of food. We sat at a table alone. People began to fill the room watching me.

"Why is everyone starring at me?" I whisper to Alec.

"They find you interesting, you're their luna of course they will be looking at you, I mean besides your looks-" Alec said.

"Shush!" I nudged his shoulder with my own.

He laughed at me and I just rolled my eyes.

"Your such a jer-" I shut up when people approached us.

"Hi, are you really the new luna?" A little girl asks me.

I smiled at her, "Yes, I'm so lucky to be with him."

"You really are lucky." The little girl said with a blush then disappearing in the crowd.

"I'm lucky." I hear Alec mumble.

"What's that?" I asked with a smirk.

"Nothing, I didn't say anything." He said quickly.

"Yeah, okay." I say rolling my eyes.

The pack meeting was mostly about me and some new changes.

"Thank you for participating and goodbye." Alec finished.

Everyone laughed and talked while I sat there awkwardly playing with my food alone. Alec wandered off to talk to his beta.

"Do you not like the food, Luna?" A female around my age asked.

"Um, no, I like it, I'm just full." I say smiling.

"Do you want me to take your plate?" She asks.

"Sure, thank you." I say, she took my plate and scurried off.

I got up and decided to explore my new land. I went outside and gasped at the scenery. The sun was going down and small wolves wrestled together. Only woods surrounded us and lined up buildings. I was anxious to explore the woods and what not. I looked at a huge beautiful house and thought it was the alpha's house. I walked up to the house and opened the door. There was a leather couch in the middle of the room with a flat screen tv in front of it. The kitchen that was connected was large and beautiful. I climbed up the spiral staircase and opened a door down the hall. There was a California king bed with a fluffy blanket on it. I believed it was Alec's room. His room way a soft grey with light hardwood flooring.

Arms snaked around my waist from behind, I screamed loudly and fell on the floor hitting my head hard. I groaned covered my eyes with my hands.

"Son of a bitch!" I yelped.

"Oh my god, Lexie! I'm so sorry!" Alec says picking me up and setting me on his soft bed.

"Shut up!" I say sitting up and rubbing my forehead.

"Lexie! I didn't-" he started to laugh, "Mean to scare you!"

I rolled my eyes and walked into his built in bathroom. My forehead was starting to bruise.

"You're a fucking jerk!" I yelled.

"You didn't smell me?" He asks walking in the bathroom.

"Your room smells like you!" I exclaim.

"Whoops." He says smirking playing with my hair.

My wolf helped me heal the bruise making my forehead spotless. He spun me towards him and locked eyes with me. My wolf was begging me to kiss him right there. No! Stop. I walked into his room brushing past him.

"Look, we might be mates and we might be what you call in 'love' but that doesn't mean I'm your Luna. I'm pretty sure you'll find someone else. Not me." I snarled out of disrespect.

'You don't know what you're doing! Shut up Lexie!' My wolf warned.

I shoved her in the back of my mind and studied my mates features.

"Alexis, I am your mate, I am alpha and you are my luna. You can not deny it, you will not treat me with disrespect. And certainly I have no other mate." Alec said calmly but with some warning in his voice.

"No. I was never destine to be with someone as cruel as you." I responded crossing my arms over my chest.

That time, I think I pushed it. He grabbed my wrists and pressed me against the wall. My hands were being held over my head and his face was inches away. His breath rolled off of my face. I stared into his eyes showing no fear.

"The big bad alpha gets what he wants." Alec's wolf growled at me.

"Fuck you!" I screamed attempting to get away.

I was never going to be his luna, never. Once I got free, I ran as fast as my feet could. I ran out of my alpha's house and changed form into a full grown black wolf with white paws and a white chest. I sprinted into the woods until I passed the territory. I laid next to a tree and panted softly listening to chirping birds.

I hated Alec. Always did. Nothing will change that.
