Chapter 3

Leaves crunched under my paws as I walked deeper in the woods. I spotted a river bank and felt joy. I galloped to it and rolled in the icy water. I splashed along and yelped whenever I saw a yellow butterfly and started to chase it. I ran about a damn mile trying to catch the butterfly that flew really high. I jumped feeling body shift in the air. I bumped into something big and soft. I laid on my stomach with my legs sprawled out. My head was on the leaves and they covered my body.

I looked up to see a huge brown wolf with a white chest standing in front of me. I felt small compared to him. His expression was hard and stern. His eyes were a brilliant green. He huffed through his nose. I slowly got up and backed away slowly with my tail between my legs and my ears down. I made myself as small as I could manage. He pawed at the ground. I remembered I turned off our link and I was terrified to turn it back on. I shook my head no and backed away. He cocked his head to the left and stepped forward to me. That's when I turned around and ran like hell. I knew he'd chase after me. I dodged trees and nearly slipped a few times on leaves. I made my feat go faster, I pushed it. I got tackled into the ground and we skittered on the leaves. I turned on our link at last and put my ears down.

'Get off of me!' I yelled at him.

'Don't run from me! Ever! You can get your little fucking ass killed out here! What are you thinking?' Alec yelled at me.

He changed form not caring that he was completely naked on top of me. I growled at him showing my bared teeth.

"Oh shut up!" Alec yelled at me hitting my nose.

I twitched my nose and was so tempted to bite him.

"Change forms now!" Alec screamed.

'No! I'd be naked!' I protested.

"Now!" He yelled.

'No, asshole! Get off of me!' I screamed back wiggling underneath him.

"Now, Alexis, or so help me.'' Alec said using his alpha tone.

I changed form, my bones popped back into place. I laid naked underneath my mate looking into his eyes. I had leaves in my hair and I was freezing. My teeth chattered and I covered my breasts and crossed my legs. His boy pocked my inner thigh.

"Let's go, now." Alec breathed.

"But- Can I change into wolf form?" I ask/beg.

"No, other wolves will catch your scent stronger than human form, now let's go." Alec says getting up.

I got up really uncomfortable and walked behind him.

"I rather be wolf form so I could get killed." I uttered.

He turned around and pushed me up against a tree. His eyes were dilated.

"Do you want a death wish? Behave yourself now!" Alec yelled walking away.

I chased after him and just shivered.

"Why do you have to be so damn complicated?!" Alec asked me.

"Get used to it." I growled.

"Bite your tongue before I do it." He snapped.

I rolled my eyes and hugged myself. He wrapped his arm around me. I got a little more warmth then I did before and wrapped an arm around his waist. My wolf purred at the bare skin contact.

'Stop it!' I scolded Alexa.

She just purred louder and made me look down at Alec's boy. I moved my eyes up and blushed.

'Bitch.'

"Like something you see?" Alec asked me with a smirk.

"A see a tic-tac." I say.
