Chapter 8

LEXIE'S P.O.V

I drove to school and just sat in my car. I wasn't falling for him, he had sex with another female! Alec is a player, a man whore, and a heart breaker. If he does it to every single girl, he'll do it to me.

'He said he loved us! Besides he's our mate!' Alexa whined.

"It doesn't change anything!" I yelled aloud.

I got out of my car and walk into my school and too my locker. I unlocked it and pulled out my backpack, then I changed out my books and slammed it closed. I put my back to the locker and slid down. I put my knees to my chest and sighed. Stacy came from nowhere and changed her books out. She sat next to me and sighed, "I have something to tell you."

"What is it?" I asked.

"I've mated with my mate... He's really good and he's so sweet. You'd love him." She said.

"Oh my lord! You mated already?!" I yelped.

"It was amazing! His name is Derrick, I'm so in love!" She chirped, "What about you and alpha?"

"Mmh... I guess good." I say half smiling.

"What happened too your cheek?!" She asked running a thumb over it, "Why are your lips red? Oh and I heard that you got a detention Friday and was a no show."

"Shit I forgot... Well it all connects really... There's a alpha named I think Nathan wants me. He and Alec don't like each other... But I had a dream about him and later on there was a vampire who got sent to get me. She got killed by Alec though..."I say showing her my marks on my shoulder.

"Can't you get rid of them?" Stacy asked.

"I haven't tried..." I say.

I thought about how my shoulder usually looked along with my cheek and I felt coldness in places where I've been hurt.

"Did it work?" I ask.

"Perfectly." Stacy smiled.

Alec walked around the corner and I ignored his eyes on me.

"He's coming." Stacy uttered.

"I know." I say.

Alec sat on my other side and put his hand on my knee.

"Why'd you run out, Lexie?" Alec's voice was soft surprisingly.

"Nows not the time." I say pushing his hand off of my knee.

He hooks a finger under my chin and pulls me towards his face. He out his to mine and kissed me trying to get me to kiss back. I finally gave in and tangled my fingers in his hair as his tongue entered my mouth fighting for dominance. Of course stupid alpha won. Stacy cleared her throat next to me pulling me to my senses and shoving Alec five feet away.

"Let's go." I mumbled.

Stacy nodded and we went to first period with Alec behind us.

"Hey alpha, how are you gonna get us out of deep shit with Loffredo?" I asked him over my shoulder.

"He can't punish an alpha when he's in the alpha's pack." Alec said.

"What about luna?" Stacy asks for me.

"I won't let him." Alec simply says.

We entered the room and everyone's eyes were on us. Mister.Low looked at me and Alec and continued his paper work. We sat in our desks silently awkward.

'Dominic told me that you'd have your heat in two weeks from now...' Alec's voice chimed in my head.

'Must your rub it in my face?' I growled.

'I thought it was important to tell you!' Alec exclaimed.

'My bad.'I mumbled.

'Tell me what happened back there- at our house.' Alec says.

'I... I don't know, I'm being forced to do it. I don't want you as my mate.' I admit.

'Alright, I don't understand you! You'll be all hard and mean to me than the next moment you're sweet and affectionate! It changes so fucking fast I don't understand it's retarded!' Alec yelled.

'You know what retarded? You having sex with a other female!' I yelled back.

'If you don't want me as your mate then why do you care?!' He continued.

Don't cry, you'll look weak. Stop Lexie, stop! I blinked back tears nod just growled.

'I shouldn't care, at all. Don't even talk to me.' I growled.

I tried to turn off our link but failed in misery. Alec didn't talk to me though. I heard very little of his thoughts in muffled and confusing words. I heard him say too himself to play nice. The bell rung and I just sighed. This sucks. After doing plenty of work the class flew by and we just soon traveled to class after class together until the day ended. I put my backpack in my locker walked out the door of school. I hadn't seen Alec in sixth period which surprised me. I heard a few moans from around the corner and bit my lip. It wouldn't be Alec. I could be Alec. I'm hoping it isn't Alec. I turned the corner and of course, it was Alec. He was kissing a girl with bleach blonde hair and tan skin. She was wearing a miniature pink dress with high heels. Alec's hands were under her dress and she was moaning like crazy.

'Jackass.' I growled at Alec through our link.

His eyes opened and he looked at me. He hesitated and ignored me kissing her again. I went to my car and was surprised I felt no pain. Maybe it was because I didn't care. I drove to my dad's house and saw my dad looking at a small red box with ribbon on it on the porch. I sat next to him and he gave me the red box.

"You left before I could've given it to you." My dad said sadly.

I opened it and there was a diamond necklace that was beautiful.

"You like it?" My dad asks.

"Love it." I breathed out.

He picked it up and wrapped it on my neck. I admired it as he finished clipping it.

"It has your mother's engagement ring around the out side of the middle one." He says.

"Thank you daddy, it means a lot." I say wrapping my arms around his neck.

"You have to get back to Alec, thanks for the visit, bye love you Lexie." My dad said with worrisome in his eyes.

"...Okay?" I say in a question walking off and driving away.

I went to my new home and knocked on the beta's house. Daniel answered it and I gave him a nervous look.

"What did he do now?" Daniel asks inviting me inside.

I slipped inside and we talked about Alec, I told him that I found his kissing a girl and he even looked at me and didn't stop.

"He's a asshole, thanks for standing up for me yesterday though." Daniel says smiling slightly.

"Least I could do... I don't know what got into me." I say.

"You don't feel any pain?" Daniel asks.

I started thinking about it and felt a pinch in my heart.

"Yes, it's growing though..." I say.

"That's not good..." Daniel said nervously.

"What the pain or what he's doing?" I asked.

"Both..." He says.

"What's he doing?" I ask knowing I'd make it worse.

"You don't want to know." Daniel said.

"Tell me, please." I begged.

"They're having sex..." Daniel said.

I pushed my hand over my chest and felt more pain. Daniel looked at me and did something I couldn't ever imagine....

Daniel kissed me.
