Chapter 5

When I woke up all I could smell was bleach and cleaner. It stung my nose badly. I opened my eyes only too see bright lights and white walls. Cords were imbedded in my arms poking me. I groaned and sat up, Alec was curled up on a chair and had bags under his eyes. I pulled the cords from my arms making the heart machine blaring a long dead beep. Alec's beautiful electric green eyes popped open with panic. He stood up and glanced at me before realizing I was awake. A doctor rushed in and disarmed the machine.

"Hello my Luna, are you feeling well?" The doctor asked pulling the heart machine away.

"Y-yes, how long was I out?'' I asked groggily rubbing my temples.

"About two days, Luna." He answered then left the room.

A huge sigh came from Alec as he sat on the foot of the hospital, "Hey beautiful."

"Hi..." I uttered climbing out of bed.

"You ready to go home?" He asks watching me carefully as if I'd disappear any minute.

"Carry me." I mumbled stretching my arms out in front of me like a little kid.

He chuckled and scooped me up in bridal position.

"What did I miss?" I ask softly as he carries us out of the small hospital.

"Nothing, just a small pack meeting." He says shrugging.

When we walked on village ground there was gasps and cheering as people gathered around us.

"Luna!" People squealed with glee.

I was starting to get a migraine with all the people crowding around us and just plain out screaming. I think Alec must've sensed my discomfort and gave them the evil eye. They all sulked away and tending back to what they were doing.

"Alec..." I say quietly.

"Hmmm?" He says opening our house door and carrying me upstairs.

"You'll have to apologies to them for me." I say.

"I will later..." He says setting me on the soft bed.

When he laid down next to me about to wrap his arms around me I emerged. Even though he might've saved me and showed a lot of affection towards me, I never liked him. Not one bit. I walked into the walk in closet and got out my necessaries along with a black T-shirt with some Pink booty shorts. I closed the door from anyone seeing and hurried to change. Once I was done I went to the bathroom to see someone had bathed me. Hopefully not Alec... I don't want to know who. There was a huge gash running behind my ear to the corner of my lip from where the silver pellet hit me. It'd leave an ugly scar. I decided to get over it and brushed my hair. Alec trudged in and wrapped his arms around me from behind. I set my brush down and just looked at us. His chin was rested on my shoulder.

"Why won't you let me love you?" Alec coos in my ear.

"Because I don't love you." I stated coldly.

"Well you're stuck with me, face the facts Alexis." His mood changed from my words, he just stormed off somewhere in the house.

I regretted what I'd said, but sadly, it was true. I put on some Vans and out my hair into a pony tail.

"Alec?" I called out.

"In here, Lexie." His voice was hard, I followed where the sound came from and opened a door.

He was sitting at his desk holding a stack of paper.

"Sorry." I whispered.

"What happened to starting new?" He asked.

I sat on a couch in the corner of the room.

"I guess I'm just scared. You know it's not a walk in a park to fall in love." I say.

"I understand, but you shouldn't be scared." He say putting the papers in a drawer.

"What time is it?" I asked randomly.

"Umh, 5:50pm." He says glancing at his computer.

I nodded and looked at my wrists. They were badly bruised. He got up and sat next to me. I let him pull me on his lap and play with my hair. I shivered when he traced the newly added scars for vampire bites on my neck.

"She destroyed my body." I say.

"No she didn't, your body is beautiful, don't think like that, they'll heal soon enough." He says kissing them.

"Stupid bloodsuckers." I uttered as he began nipping at my neck.

For the first time today, Alexa told me to take advantage and have some fun and we deserved. Maybe we did, but I'd just be playing with Alec. He made me straddle him and kissed my neck. I cupped his cheeks in my hands and pulled him from my neck, his face was inches from mine. My lips were separated slightly. His eyes shined with mischievousness and joy mixed in one. I pressed my lips to his and kiss him. He kissed back with a purr of his wolf. His hands traveled to my hair. Even though my hair was in a tight pony tail he managed to grab fistfuls. He deepened the kiss and ran his tongue on my bottom lip asking for an entrance. I desperately let his tongue glide in my mouth. His taste was so sweet but his kiss showed diffrent. It was nowhere near sweet. It was rough and smooth. The roughness was just what I liked, normally other females like sweet soft ones but this one didn't.

"Focus, Lexie." Alec uttered on my lips.

Focus? Okay we need to focus... Focus. Focus...

'God dammit, just deepen it!' Alexa yelped at me.

I let out a growl in the back of my throat and pressed my body against his, no matter how close we were, it didn't feel like enough. My hands went to his waists. My nails dug into his sides.

"Kinky." He chuckled on my lips.

If I talked it'd be some smart comment and I'd ruin the kiss.

"Oh- Umh- Sorry." I hear a male say from the entrance of the room.

I leaped off of Alec and banged my head on the coffee table in front of the couch. I groaned loudly and squeezed my eyes shut. This better be good.

"What the hell?!" Alec screamed.
