Chapter 4

I woke up in a panic. Someone's hand was touching my breast. I did what I could only thing of. I quickly shifted facing the person and made the persons' hand snap.

"Mother of fuck!" Alec yelled.

I scurried off of him and stood at the foot of my bed.

"Why in the hell did you do that?!" Alec asked.

"Shhhh! You'll wake up my father!" I shushed him.

"You broke my wrist, I don't give a damn about your father!" He whispered/yelled.

"Just mend it together, don't be a wimp." I snarl.

"You're so annoying, why'd you break my wrist?" He asks focusing on his wrist.

A bone bulged out and started moving inward. He mended it and sat up with no shirt on.

"Don't touch me like that ever again! How'd you get in here?" I say upset at him.

"You didn't lock your window, smart one, and your heat is coming up-" Alec says.

"Shut up, don't mention it, now get out of my house!" I say shooing him away.

It was dark out still, around two in the morning.

"It's not your house, it's your father's house, your things are already at our house." Alec says.

"You packed my stuff- you touched..." I whispered blushing madly.

"Can't wait to see you try them on." He says with a wink.

My mouth opened to speak but nothing came out.

"I wrote a letter to your dad that you wouldn't be here and moved to my house, so were set to go." He says getting up and opened my window.

I just sighed and climbed out. He followed as we climbed down a rose wall. Thorns hooked onto my arms and hands starting to bleed. I dropped on the grass and picked at the thorns. I tossed them aside and looked at my convertible and his Bugatti.

"Do you have my keys or will I have to get thorns stuck in my hands to get them?" I asked.

He held keys in his hands and jingled them, "Aren't you a lucky bustard?"

He tossed them to me and I caught them, "Not unless I have to stand a hundred feet away from you, then no."

I hear him growl and just walk to his car, I climbed in mine and drove behind him. When I reached my new house I just put my chin on the steering wheel and groaned.

"Lexie? Are you gonna stay out here or what?" Alec asks.

"I rather." I grumble getting out and going inside.

Alec went into his room that he insisted on calling it 'our room'.

"Get in here!" Alec demanded.

I dragged my feet up the stairs and leaned against his door frame.

"You wanted me?" I asked.

"You ought to sleep sometime, get in bed with me." Alec said.

"I'll pass." I say walking away and down the stairs. I opened a random door and presumed it was the guest room.

I crawled in bed and set my phone alarm for five in the morning. I fell asleep in the matter of no time.

.A dark man approached me. I was tied to a chair naked and gagged. I tried to escape but failed.

"Alexis, don't fight it, you should've never denied I wasn't your mate when I clearly am." A cold voice hissed at me.

Blood ran trickled down my forehead as I began to panic. I tried to speak but it came out muffled.

"Oh, let me help you." The man says removing my gag from between my lips.

"Who are you, what do you want from me?" I ask my voice cracked.

"I want your innocents, and Alexis! I'm your mate!" He exclaimed.

I wished I could kick this man where the sun don't shine so hard. I couldn't see his features but the reflection of his eyes were animal like. He was a werewolf obviously.

"No your not my mate, Alec is." I say with a tear running down my face.

"You've got it all wrong, Alexis, I'm your true mate, no one can change that." He says.

''You fucker!" I yelled with all my power, trying to move my hands.

"No, no, no, my name is Nathan. Say it, Na-than." He says.

"Alec will kill you." I growled.

"Yeah, and I'll bow down to him!" He snorts.

"You will, trust me." I say.

"Until then, I get to have my fun." He says unzipping his pants.

"No- please, no! Nathan, no, please!" I begged.

"Let me think... No." He says walking toward me.

"Um, excuse me, luna?" A voice chided in my ears.

I sat up groggily and saw a person standing in front of me with the lights on.

"What did I miss?" I ask sleepily.

"Oh, um, luna, your in my bed." The guy says.

My eyes widen as I got out of his comfy bed.

"I'm so sorry... Aren't you the beta?" I asked dumbfounded.

"Yes, I'm Daniel, sorry I had to kick you out but I sorta need my bed. Mate got mad at me so she kicked me out of the house..." Daniel says scratching the back of his neck.

"Alright." I say taking my phone and walking to the living room, I laid on the couch and was scared to fall asleep.

I stared at the ceiling. Who was Nathan? I got picked up and I only smelt Alec. I buried my face into his bare chest and breathed his sent in.

"Put me down you ass." I mumbled, kissing his abs.

"You know, I like you better when you're drowsy." Alec commented setting me on his soft bed.

"Yeah, yeah... Do you know anyone with the name of Nathan?" I asked biting my lip.

"Why are you asking?" He asks.

"Worry less, but do you?" I ask.

"I know a Nathan Michel." Alec says.

"Is he in this pack?" I asked.

"No, he's the alpha of the Dawn pack, he's my sworn enemy, why?" He asks.

"Nothing, just... Don't let anyone hurt me." I sighed.

"I wouldn't, you're scaring me, Lexie, tell me what's going on." Alec pleaded.

"You're sleeping on the couch, that's what's going on." I say.

"But Alexis-" Alec whined.

"Go away." I tell him.

He surprisingly listened to me and turned off the lights. I crawled under the blankets and just treasured Alec's sent. I fell asleep only to wake up to a alarm yelling at me. I turned off my alarm and sat up. Does it ever end? I got up and turned on the light. I went into a walk in closet and saw my clothes neatly folded on shelves. I took a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a flowing white shirt. I grabbed my necessaries and went into his bathroom. I undressed and stepped into the shower. I washed my body and hair and stepped out. I dried off with a fluffy white towel and got dressed. I found my flat iron and straightened my hair. I put on a small amount of mascara and put on some Vans. I looked at myself in the mirror and was unhappy with the shirt choice. I went back into the closet and changed into a orange button down shirt that was tight on my arms and waist showing off my curves. I shoved my phone in my pocket and ran downstairs.

I entered the built in kitchen and began cooking bacon and eggs. I saw Alec shifting on the couch snoring lightly. Once I was done cooking for three people (including myself) I put the food on plates. I filled three glasses up with orange juice and set it on the dining room table. I walked to the beta's room and knocked on the door softly. Daniel opened the door shirtless and his hair a mess.

"Um, I made breakfast..." I say awkwardly.

"Awh, thanks, little one." He says smiling and walking past me.

I cocked my head to the right, little one? I shrugged and walked into the living room. I looked at Alec sleeping peacefully.

"He's a heavy sleeper, you might wanna choice a bullhorn." Daniel suggested leaning against the wall with a bullhorn in his hands, "You can do the-"

"My pleasure," I say taking the bullhorn and holding down a tiny small button.

Alec rolled off of the couch with a thump. I quickly tossed the bullhorn to Daniel and he put it away. We scurried to the dinner table and ate there like we have been. Alec trudged in the room.

"Who did that?" Alec groaned sitting down taking a bite of eggs.

"Did what?" I ask playing dumb.

"Mmmh, this is delicious, Lexie." Daniel moaned.

"It is... Don't play dumb with me, who had the bullhorn?" Alec asks.

"Neither of us, Alec, wake up." Daniel retorted scooping a mouth full of eggs in his mouth.

I chewed on my crisp bacon happily.

"You both are bitches." Alec uttered.

"Not a morning person are we?" I ask finishing my eggs.

I chugged down my orange juice and licked my lips.

"Shut up..." Alec says stacking my plate with his.

Daniel took the dishes and washed them. He said it was the least he could do.

"Where's my backpack?" I asked Alec.

"I'm not telling you." Alec said.

"Daniel!" I whined.

"It's in the hallway closet." Daniel said in the kitchen.

"Ha!" I say poking Alec's nose and skipping to the hallway.

I found my backpack there and slung it on my shoulder. I grabbed my keys and went out the door. Dropping out of school my ass. I hopped in the car and drove to school. I didn't like school, I made all A's and never had a detention in my life. That doesn't mean I was a good girl. My favorite quote is; Every good girl is a bad one that doesn't get caught. And personally to me, it was so relatable. I entered the school with some eyes on me. I ignored them and walked to my locker only to be greeted by the worst best friend in the world.

"How was Alec? Is he a monster in bed?" Stacy asked with a dangerous shine in her eye.

"I didn't sleep with him! I don't like him!" I exclaim changing out my books.

"Awh, I want to be a aunt." She sighed.

"Shut up, loser!" I laughed.

Stacy giggled and immediately stopped. Her eyes landed on someone.

"Mate..." She mumbled rushing past me and running up to a guy with blonde hair and brown large eyes.

He was slightly shorter then her and had geek glasses on. But I was sure he was a good person. I think. He was below Stacy's standards, her face was hard and she was yelling at him. She came back and banged her head up against her locker. I ran up to her mate and looked down at him.

"Whatever Stacy said, she didn't mean it." I say turning away and going back to Stacy.

"My mate. Is a nerd." Stacy said starting to cry.

"Listen to yourself! Your being selfish, Stacy!" I say.

"How?! I got setup with a puny wolf!" She yelled at me.

"You don't know what he's capable of!" I exclaim.

"Not killing a fly!" She yelled storming off.

Jesus Crists, he was cute but just small. I went to first period and sat at my desk bored as fuck. Alec swiftly entered the room and sat next to me.

"We were supposed to drop out of school, remember?" Alec whispered to me.

"No, you were, not me." I say shrugging.

"As long as you keep on cooking for me." He says rubbing my thigh.

"Hands off, mutt." I say smacking his hand that I broke earlier.

"Watch your mouth luna." He growled moving his hand up.

This is why I don't like him. I took his hand and licked it.

"Ew! That's gross, Lexie!" Alec yelped making Mister.Low eye him.

The bell rung and he didn't learn his lesson. I turned on our link and decided on pissing him off.

'You're like a little kid, when someone tells you not to touch the stove because it's hot- you touch it! Then repeatedly you keep on touching it!' I yelled at him hitting his hand against the desk.

We were currently watching a movie about Hitler and how he killed himself with silver and what not.

'But you like this little kid, don't you?' Alec says in my head muffled.

'I'm getting a headache because of how muffled our connection is!' I exclaimed.

'You know... If we mated we could fix that problem.' He chirps.

'Never in your wildest dreams.' I say.

'Hea-' he reminded me.

'Stop reminding me that I'm going to be on heat and I won't resist you! I know what's coming and I have a plan to fix it.' I say.

'And what's that brilliant plan of yours?' He asks.

'Don't worry about it, pay attention to the video.' I scowled.

'Whats wrong with your friend over there?' Alec pointed out Stacy.

'She found her mate who was a small skimpy wolf.' I say.

'So she flipped out because she thought she would get better?' He asked.

'Pretty much.' I say shrugging.

'That's selfish of her.' He uttered.

'Thats what I thought.' I say.

He grabbed my hand and intwined our fingers. Our hands were in the middle of all the desks and clearly visible. Mister.Low stopped this video and turned on the lights.

"We do not approve of any contact Mister.Colton and Miss.Elizabeth." He said.

I made my decision on Low, I hated him. I tugged my hand away only for Alec to hold on to it.

"Alexis Elizabeth! Do not disobey my orders!" He yelled at me.

I shot a glare at Alec who defied him. I tugged my hand away but he wouldn't budge.

"Detention! For both of you! After school till five." Mister.Low says.

My mouth slightly opened, "For holding hands? At least be reasonable and send me to detention for something else!"

"What's your choice, Elizabeth?" He asked.

"God mother of- Stop fucking calling me by my last name! You're a complete asshole!" I yelled at him.

I hear Alec chuckle, "Oh, you can write that I joined in.''

Mister.Low frowned heavily, "Get out of my class."

"Thank you for fucking completing my dreams bastard!" I say grabbing a detention slip and going out the door.

Alec followed behind me and stopped me in my tracks.

"Where did that come from?! Did I mention how in love I am with you?" Alec says laughing.

"Shit I got a detention." I mumbled.

"Oh, it's fine! The teacher always leaves to go to watch Tv the entire time!" Alec says.

''I have a detention... Because of you." I say.

"About that..." He says.

"You got me a detention! Ass!" I yelped walking away.

"At least I'm alpha so Loffredo wouldn't send us to the office." Alec said running after me.

"Ass." I utter.

"Heard that." He says.

"You were supposed to!" I say.

I had no clue where I was going... My legs just took me to my locker. I shoved my backpack in my locker and sighed, looking around.

"Turn around." I ordered Alec spinning my finger in a circle.

"Why?" He asks.

"Just do it real fast." I say he groaned and out his back towards me.

I quickly stripped off my shirt, pants, and shoes and closed my locker. He turned around and smirked.

"Already? Alright." Alec says eyeing my body and came towards me.

"No dumbass. I'll see you in detention." I say.

"What do you mean? I'm not leaving you." He says.

"You won't have any clothes." I say smirking.

"Oh, don't play that card on me." He practically begged.

I waved and transformed into my wolf. I walked away my nails clicking softly against the tile floor.

"Where are you going?" Alec asks walking behind me.

I stopped and looked at him trying to make a confused face. He busted out laughing. I rolled my eyes and ran to the front of the school I pushed the door open with my paws and felt the chilly wind nipping at my nose. I sneezed and ran into the woods. I smelt other wolves around, a strong smell, probably some ditchers. I ran deeper in the woods trying to find my way to the alpha's house. In a few miles I was lost and cold. I laid next to and tree and sighed.

'Why are we so stupid? Alexa asks.

'Alexa! I'm not stupid, I just don't want to be around him!' I yelp.

'Maybe if we gave him a chance he would...' Her voice died down.

'He would what?' I ask.

'Get out of here! Now!' Alexa warned.

I got up and ran as fast as I could.

'Who is it?' I asked panicked.

'Focus Alexis! We need out of here now!' She yelled.

If she was freaked out I was worse. A object flew by my head whizzing in my ear. I had to do a zig-zag path to avoid getting hit. It skimmed my cheek and it hurt really bad. I smelt burning and saw no smoke. I paused aware that there was a fire. I ran about another mile only to see a ring of fire was around me. I was trapped. Something hit a tree and flew down. I walked to the object and saw it was a chunk of silver. Calm down, Lexie, I told myself.

'Alec! I need your help!' I yelped through our mind link.

'Where are you?' He asked.

'I don't know... Someone is trying to kill me.' I say looking around.

'I smell fire, you're not involved with that.' Alec said with worry in his voice.

'Please just find me.' I say.

A figure jumped down off a tree and landed right in front of me. A female was holding a slingshot and was holding a sack of silver duds in her hand.

''Why hello, Luna." She says circling me.

I changed form and crossed my arms over my chest. Her eyes were a blood red and she had her fangs baring out. Blood was stained on her teeth.

"Hello bloodsucker, what can I do for you?" I ask.

"You can make things easy and let me take you to my master." She hissed circling me like food... Oh wait a minute.

"Who's your master and what does he want from me?" I asked.

She walked behind me and tugged softly at my hair.

"Master Nathan wants to have some fun. I don't know why but he wants you. He wants your innocents." She mumbled in my ear.

She pressed her body against mine and I shivered.

"I would like it too but I'm afraid it doesn't work that way." She says giving me a love bite on my shoulder.

"I'm afraid not. But unfortunately I can't let you take me." I say.

"Hmm, he didn't mark you yet. Anyways why is that?" She purred in my ear sucking on the spot where Alec would make his mark.

"Because, your master is not my mate. He's not my love, why do you follow his orders?" I asked stalling.

"Don't mind that sweetheart, you and me aren't mates but that doesn't stop me." She said.

"Stop you from what?" I asked.

She moved my hair on my left shoulders and kissed my neck.

"From this." She said sinking her teeth into my shoulder.

I gasped and fell to the ground. She pulled her teeth from my shoulder and smirked.

"You taste delicious, like vanilla." She moaned as she tied my hands up.

'Fight the poison, Lexie, we can do this.' Alexa said.

I groaned and shifted on my back.

"You're a follower, never meant to lead due to how weak you are." The vampire hissed.

'God dammit Lexie! Get up! You'll kill Alec! He's not miles near! Get up!' My wolf yelled at me.

My arm started to crack changing into a paw slowly.

'Hurry!' Alexa yelped.

I changed completely and somehow managed to rip the rope off of my wrists. My wolf was weak and bleeding badly. The vampire smirked and sat on top of me. I fell to the ground with a thump and sighed in pain. She ran her finger over my bleeding cheek and tsked me.

"Too bad master has to get ahold of you." She pouted then laughed wickedly.

I then got mad, I sprang to my feet with her remaining on my back. I ran while the vampire gave me bites on my neck. I had to jump the wall of fire catching a small portion of my waist on fire. I slammed into a tree setting my flame off and hurting the female. I ran and kept slamming into trees. A weight lifted off my back as I hit a tree as hard as I could. I saw her knocked out cold.

'Shit.' I heard Alec say walking in front of me.

I felt like curling up in a ball only to die. He ordered me to turn around and I did so. I heard snarls and smelt fresh blood. After a few seconds I collapsed on the ground and automatically changed form. I felt my body get lifted off of the ground by someone soft. I wrapped my arms around Alec's neck and buried my face in his fur.

'Stay.' Alec pleaded running.

"O-okay." I say blacking out.
