Jacey's pov
"Hey. It's time to get up," I heard Calum say. "Jacey. Come on. You have a date tonight," he continued.
"Ugh," I groaned as I rolled over. I completely forgot that Paige had set me up on a blind date.
What am I gonna do now? Not only have I kissed my best friend, embarrassed myself in front of him, AND FALLEN IN LOVE WITH HIM (although I'd never admit that aloud), I'm now going on a date behind his back.
"Go take a shower. I'll pick out your outfit and make breakfast," Calum suggested. I only groaned in response. "AND SHAVE THOSE LEGS! YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL GO ON," he yelled as I shut the bathroom door.

*After shower*
Man I really did not think this through. I'll be naked until Calum picks an outfit for me.
I huffed as I wrapped a fluffy towel around my shivering body and walked to my room.
"Hey," I said when I noticed Calum looking through my closet. "Oh, h-eeeey" he said as he turned around. "Um. The um. Ugh. Your body. I MEAN YOUR BREAKFAST is on the table. I-I'll set your outfit in here when I'm done," he stuttered. "Okay..." I replied, confused. I turned around and began walking out of my cold room. I could feel Calum looking at me but I chose to ignore it. "I don't need any extra boy drama," I thought.

Calum's pov
"Goddamit Calum," I thought to myself. Don't make this harder on Jacey. She loves Ashton and Ashton loves her. I gave myself a not-so-helpful pep talk until I heard Jacey's footsteps walking towards the living room, where I was waiting. "I'm ready," she spoke, quietly. "You look beautiful," I assured her, knowing by the look on my best friend's face that she wasn't so sure. Jacey only smiled in response. Great. She's uncomfortable.

*On the date/ Jacey's pov*
I spotted a talk brunette in a blue shirt, just like Paige had told me. He looked familiar. I knew that I knew him from somewhere. I just had to figure out where.
I was too busy thinking about this to realize he had noticed me standing there, and was looking at me expectantly. "Oh! Hey. Sorry, I'm Jacey," I started as I continued my walk towards the gorgeous man. "I'm Micah," he responded. "The name even sounds familiar," I thought.
After the waitress took our orders, Micah and I made small talk. "So where do you go to school?" I asked him curiously, still trying to figure this out. "I'm a student at CLA, majoring in chemistry. What about you?" he replied, simply. That's it.
"J-Jordan?" I stuttered. "Yes, Jacey?"

A/N: I started this book forever ago and completely forgot about it but I've decided to pick it back up after re-reading the first few chapters. This chapter was already half written and saved as a draft so I started in the middle of it. Sorry if it's not as good as the rest. 😂
