Jacey's pov
I was just sitting, recalling events from the "incident" when I heard a knock at the door. Well, not really a knock. More like three guys slamming their fists against the small, thin door. I thanked them in my mind for saving me from an awkward night as I speed walked to the door. I heard cheers of "hi" and "hey" when I pulled the door open revealing three attractive idiots.
We were all sitting in the living room making small talk when all of a sudden Ashton spoke. "Do you ever wonder how pink lemonade is made if lemons are yellow?" he asked, seeming interested. We all just stared at him, not sure how to answer.
"Like, lemons are yellow, right? Which is why the lemonade is yellow. There's no dye. It's natural. All lemonade is natural. So how is lemonade made pink?" he continued.
"Seriously, mate?" Calum laughed. I found myself slightly amused. "Ashton, I love that these are the things you worry about," I admitted, smiling a little. "Oh. Um, thanks," he blushed.
Yep. I've definitely ruined our friendship.
I excused myself to go to the restroom immediately. I had just made a fool of myself. I sped off through the hallway and slammed the door behind me as I reached the bathroom.

Calum's pov
Jacey excused herself to the bathroom then ran off. I heard the door slam and knew it was about Ashton.
"Man she must've had to pee really bad," Luke stated.
"Moron," I thought. Someone would have to be blind to completely miss how in love Ashton and Jacey seem.
After about five minutes of Jacey hiding out in the cold, bare bathroom, I decided to go check on her.

"Jacey?" I asked, pecking on the door. "Just a second," I heard her mumble. No way she was gonna let me in. I jiggled the door handle anyway. Unlocked.
When I walked in, she was leaning on the sink, staring straight into the mirror. "Be straightforward with him about your feelings. You two need to talk," I tried to reason.
"No," she stated, stubbornly.
"Come on, Jacey," I begged, "I think he likes you too."
"Well, think isn't good enough. I may have just destroyed every-" her voice broke.
I acted on instinct and pulled her into my arms to comfort her. "Hey, don't say that. Look at the bright side, sweetheart. Now you have a chance to be with him. And that's what you want, isn't it?" I explained. No reply.
"Just trust me on this one, Jacey. It's gonna be fine," I continued, "Okay?"
"Okay," she whispered. "Do you want me to go get Ashton so you two can talk?" I asked, hoping to help. "No. No. Give me time," she said.
"Okay. Well how about I get rid of the boys so we can hang out? How does a girls night sound?" I asked.
"Fine, fine," she laughed. "There's the smile I was waiting for!" I exclaimed.

Jacey's pov
I sat in the bathroom floor while Calum went to run the rest of the boys off. I was lucky to have a best friend like him. I don't know where I'd be without him.
