After having fish from Francis' Cafe, Meredith, Volta, Alan, and I quickly came back to my place. I knew Alan would be hooking up with my sister, but why did he have to tag along? Well, we stood there in front of the door, prepared to receive a good scolding from Garren and Myra. I slowly grasped the gold door knob, and twisted it. I gulped and quickly swung the door open.
Myra and Garren were standing there, except they let out a sigh of relief. "W-wait, what did you want to see me for?" I asked confused. Garren shook his head. "Nothing, son. We thought you were cheating on Volta Terra since we saw another suit case in your room filled with girl's clothes. We wouldn't think you'd cross-dress anyways...wait would you?" Volta and I stared at Garren and Myra blankly. "...What? Okay, one, I'd never do such a thing, and two, I thought you saw the note I put on the fridge in the kitchen saying 'Don't be alarmed if you see another girl here. That is my long lost sister, Meredith'!" I said frustrated.
"Tch, I told you we should of checked for a note before we jumped into conclusions, Garren!" Myra scolded Garren. "Wait how did you realize I wasn't cheating on Volta so quickly?" I asked. Myra and Garren both pointed to my left at Meredith and Alan making-out immensely. "Oh, right. Don't mind them two." I said ignoring the two. "Well, son, that's what we were concerned of because I don't want you throwing your girl away! She's the best prize you've got! Plus, I wouldn't think Volta would wear size C+ bras anyways since she wears--" "Dad!" I yelled.
"Right, right. sorry 'bout that, son. But what I'm saying is you need her! She's someone who you'd want to keep. She's perfect for you, son!" Garren said. Wow...that's the first time I've ever heard Garren and Myra said something nice to me. Volta smiled and turned to me. I smiled back at her and kissed her gently.
"Well, sorry to trouble your double-date, but we were just concerned!" Myra said to me. "It's fine, mom! You were just looking after me." I said smiling. "We'll have dinner ready for you and your friends tonight when we get back, okay?" Myra said. "Alright, thanks mom!" I said to her. We then made our way into the house and up the stairs. "Have a good orgy!" Myra called out. "MOM!!!" I yelled. Well that'll never change...

Volta and I sat outside the door of my room while Meredith and Alan are taking care of some "business" in there...why my room of all places? I started to ponder about my life. Wondering why I was here, or why I was made.
"This is an interesting family you have, Kinetta! Heheh." Volta said breaking my thoughts. "Yep, and I'm tangled up in the middle of it. First, my parents treated me like crap, then once they met you, Myra and Garren started to change their attitude, well except Myra's perverted remarks since she is a...anyway. Then now I met my sister who reminds me a lot about Myra, strangely enough. And also I never met my real parents, dad went missing, and mom died after giving birth to me." I sighed. "My life is just one crazy...I don't know, thing. What is going on here?"
Volta scooted closer to me as I heard her red dress rustle and placed her hand gently on top of mine. "Life is just like that. It's a cruel and sick world out there. You have to remember that." I looked up into Volta's deep hazel eyes. "Yeah...you're right. But that's why I have to make the best out of it, right?" I said smiling. "Heheh. Right, and that's why I'm here to support and love you too!" Volta smiled back at me.
"Yeah...it's a lonely world out there. I'm glad I met you already because you've changed everything for me. Everything seems possible now. I love you too for being here and staying with me no matter what happens. If there's a place that I can be, then I'd be another memory, can I be the only hope for you? Because you're the only hope for me! And we can't find where we belong, we'll have to make it on our own. Face all the pain and take it on, because the only hope for me is you alone!" I serenaded to Volta.
She blushed and giggled, then hugged me. I held on to her tightly and kissed her sweetly. "Ah, I love you, Kinetta." "I love you too, Volta. Heh." We both stayed in each other's arms silently for a while.

The doorbell suddenly rang and we let go of each other. "Coming!" I said as I got up to go open the door. "Hahah! You said coming! Ah! Oh my, which is about to--" "SHUT IT, MEREDITH!" I yelled at my door heading down the stairs.
I opened the door and the delivery boy with his brown paper boy jacket and shorts stood there with a large brown hover truck parked on the driveway. "Hello there again, sir! I have your stuff delivered!" he said saluting. "Heheh, hey there little bud! I guess you're my permanent delivery man?" I joked. "Hahah! Yep! Well I kind of saw what you've been ordering...what are you planning to make?" the boy asked me. "Hm, interested I see! Well do you know about the history of planet Elyssia?" I asked him.
His eyes brightened up. "Yes! Yes, I do! A lot about it in fact!" he replied excitedly. "I see. Now, how would you like to join my crew and I on building a steampunk ship that can reach Elyssia?" The boy's jaw dropped wide open in shock. "Y-you want me to-to join you?! Of course, sir! I'd be grateful to join!" I smiled at him and took off his brown paper boy cap and placed my top hat on his head. "Welcome to the crew!" I said bowing at him. "Yippie! Oh boy! This is going to be awesome!" he jumped up and down happily.
"So what's your name anyways?" I asked him. "Ah, where are my manners? My name is Ervin Armstrong! I am an orphan, but I deliver mail for my job! Nice to meet you Captain...Kinetta Malzaheimer?" "Yes, Kinetta Malzahei-actually, Keats, because that's my real last name." I introduced to Ervin. "Ah, okay then! Captain Keats!" he said saluting again. "Heh, now that's a enthusiastic crew member!" I said taking the top hat off of him and patting his brown hair. "Awright! Well let's haul in the parts and meet my crew mates!" Ervin whooped.
This is great! One more member in helping re-build my ship! It's just a matter of time now! I don't know if Alan wants to help though, maybe. Well since Meredith is, he's going to want to stay...well, the more the merrier!
