It was about 4 P.M. as everyone gathered at the front door of my place. Alan, Meredith, and Ervin tilted their heads with confusion after I told them about our plan. "So, you want us to search around the house for Rupert's personal files? You sure that's a good idea?" Alan asked a little nervous. "Of course it's risky! You just have to be sneaky looking through stuff. Just be mindful to put stuff back where it belongs and in the same position as it was left." I told Alan.
"Don't worry, we're all searching for the files." Volta ensured Alan. "We'll just split into groups so that way the search goes faster." Alan nodded. "So who am I with?" Ervin asked. "Well you stick with Alan, okay hun?" Meredith bent down to him. "O-okay...why not with you, Volta, and Kinetta?" Meredith thought to herself for a moment. "Actually I'll go with Alan and you can go with Volta and Kinetta, okay?" I know what she's going to do...oh well, no way of stopping her.
"Okay so you two search the left wing of the house, we will search the right wing." I gave Alan and Meredith the smaller part of the house so that way they can have their lovey-dovey time while we finish our part. Aren't I a nice brother? Meh, it's to just get them out of the way.

"Okay, maybe I should've tooken a map of this place..." I muttered. Volta placed her hands firmly on her hips and shook her head with disappointment. "Oh no....how are we going to find our way out now?" Ervin started to chew on his nails. I looked up, then down, then spun in circles. I turned back around and shrugged at them. "How long have you lived here? And you still don't know every part of your house?" Volta sneered at me.
"Hey, I spend all of my time in the left wing of the manor, which is where my room is, and my garage." Volta giggled a bit. "You sure don't like to leave your room, huh?" I shrugged as she said that to me. "Well I'm usually building my own steampunk stuff. Plus, recently I've been just spending time out of the house a lot with you!" She smiled and looked to the side. Ah her sweet rosy cheeks makes her look adorable.
I smiled back and tried to peck her on the cheek. She kept backing away playfully and shy, making her blush more, until her back bumped into the wall. Ervin pretended not to know what was going on and kept looking around the long narrow red and white hall. I placed my hand and pressed it against the wall to the right of Volta's head and gazed into her eyes.
Suddenly, as I pushed my weight more onto my hand, the wall started to sink in. Volta and I quickly jumped back from the wall and Ervin stared at it. Should have known there was stuff like hidden switches and secret rooms in this place! The wall slowly pushed back, then shifted to the left and left a new path for us to explore.
"Should we?" Ervin asked still staring down the long dark hallway. "Psh, of course we do! I've never seen this part of the manor anyways. C'mon, don't be scared! It's not like there's no dead bodies in there...or is there. On second thought...maybe we should not. Eh! Whatever, let's go." I took Volta by the hand and headed into the hall first.
The light slowly faded away as we progressed further into the small hallway. It started to feel a bit stuffy in here as well. I stuck my left hand out while still holding Volta's hand with my right feeling the way through. We kept having to turn left, then right, then another right, and another right. It was like some sort of maze in here.
The hallway then started to shrink down untill we had to duck lower. Then we had to crouch down. Soon we were crawling. How long is this little tunnel? And where does it lead? Ugh, hopefully not into my parent's room or the bathrooms. I let out a soft grunt as my head hit the wall straight on. I looked around to see which direction to go but I saw a beam of light to the left. Finally! A way out!
