Relias and his three large looking men charged at Volta, Meredith and I once again, except we're in our normal bodies now. I took a deep breath and toughened up, ready to take Relias on. He cried out and pulled his fist back as he charged at me. I closed my eyes and felt rage fill inside me, pulling my fist back too. Rupert came back from the side entrance."Oh, I almost forgot Kinetta--Oh good heavens! What are you doing to the children?!" What a great time for Rupert to come back.
I opened my eyes and dropped my fist and Relias turned around to see who it was. Rupert then took off his gloves and cracked his knuckles. "Well now, if you're going to mess with the weak, then you deserve to be punished by the mightier! Well then! Let's begin!" Rupert held up his fists like a boxer and hunched over in a fighting stance.
Relias scoffed and looked back at Rupert. "You? Just you against my three men and I? Well I don't mind a good warm-up and a good laugh! Hahahah!" Rupert still bobbed up and down in his fighting position but dropped his fists down. "Go on then!" Relias then pulled his fist back and shot his fist to Rupert's face. Rupert seemed like he took the hit, but then his head turned back over looking at Relias and said, "Nice try!"
Rupert came charging back with his right fist and punched Relias across his face twice as hard. Relias spun around a few times then fell to the floor out cold. Relias' men looked at him then back at Rupert with anger and charged at him. Punches were thrown at Rupert but he kept juking the men and jabbing them in their guts and upper-cutting them after ducking.
"Machine-gun, one-two, blow!" Rupert dashed over from man to man jabbing them with his left fist then knocking them out with a final blow with his right hand. I recongize that signature boxing move! He was the one and only legendary british boxer...Lightning Rose Petal Dudley! He still got it in him! Amazing!
"Keep it classy!" Rupert said as he upper-cutted the last man standing making him fly up in the air and falling back to the floor hard. Rupert then whipped out a rose and sniffed it, then tossed it on to Relias. His victory stance, smelling the sweet rose, then tossing it onto his defeated opponent...I've always idolized Lightning Rose Petal Dudley...and I saw him in action!
I sat there looking at him speechless once again. From how old he looks, he's a very fit old man! "Impressed?" We all nodded without saying a word. "Well he should be out of the way for now. Let's take care of the bodies shall we?" He picked up Relias and dragged him along. I took one of the unconscious men by the arm and dragged him across the floor and to Rupert's car.
"Oh my...what happened to these men?" the drunk woman asked wobbling back and forth waiting in Rupert's car. "Oh, it almost turned into a bar brawl, but we stopped them. I'll be making a few extra stops if you don't mind, miss." Rupert said nonchalantly. I tossed one of the men in recklessly. "Oops, I hope that didn't hurt him, hahah. Well have a good evening ma'am!" I tipped my hat at the woman.
Rupert entered the driver's seat and closed the door. "Oh, and if there's any more trouble, let me know right away, okay?" I nodded then Rupert smiled at me then drove off. What a guy, what a guy...

Next morning came fast and I heard my alarm blaze in my ear. Ugh, why is it louder than before? I slightly opened my eyes and looked up to see Volta holding my steampunk alarm clock up to my ear. "Wakey-wakey! You don't want to be late again!" I rubbed my eyes and sat up in bed. "I really wonder, if you wake up so early in the morning and come to see me as I wake up, why don't we room together? It's really not that expensive to rent a room in this house."
She put her index finger on her lips and wondered. "You know, that does sound like a good idea, though, I don't know what my parents would say if I told them I was rooming with a guy..." I pulled her close to me and wrapped my arms around her playfully and smiled. "I never said you had to tell them you were rooming with me, now did I?" She looked at me and smirked.
"That's true...well I'll let you get ready now okay?" I let her go and she sat at my desk examining my so-called doodles that turned into accidental masterpieces. I brushed my teeth, then slipped on my khaki slacks and buttoned up my white dress shirt. Volta just watched me get dressed like usual, which I don't mind. As long as she's not seeing my "forbidden dragon" or my bum, then that's okay.
As I was tightening my tie in front of my mirror, Volta then brought up Rupert. "He seems really like a father to you...I'm starting to get a vibe that he is your father all along." I stopped messing with my red tie and turned to her. "You think so too? I'm pretty sure Meredith and I are thinking the same thing." She looked back at the papers of R. Keats.
"Well it makes logical sense if his last name was Keats, plus his name does start with an R. Also he treats and talks to you and Meredith like he is your father."
"I see. Now that I think more about it, yeah it really does. Oh and I never really got to look at the documents on R. Keats. Is there a portrait of him in any sort?"
"Nope, not at all. Just a blank spot for the picture."
"Huh, well I guess he really is the world's most mysterious man of the year." I slipped on my brown school jacket and placed my goggles on my head. I then looked over at Volta and held my arm out to her. "Shall we?" "Yes we shall." We linked arms together and I escorted her out of the house. I looked over at her and realized she was wearing a red and black beret. I think she looks very cute in a beret!

"Kinetta!!! Kineeeettaaaaaa!!!" a voice called out to me as I was heading to class. I turned around to see who was calling me and it was one of my classmates, McKenzie. "What's up?" She smiled and giggled and blushed a bit. "Is it true?" I looked at her confused.
"What's true?"
"Oh, about you meeting the actual Lightning Rose Petal Dudley!"
"How do you know that?"
"This girl in an odd purple dress that's very lacy and has gears on them told me."
I covered my face. What is Meredith doing here at Mizra Academy? "Oh, I see, uh, well yeah, that's true!" McKenzie's face lit up and her eyes glittered. "Oooohh! Did you get anything autographed by him?" "Oh, no I did not actually. I forgot to get one from him. I could possibly get one for you the next time I see him if you'd like?" She nodded frantically. "Alright! Well it's a done deal!"
McKenzie thanked me and trotted off to her class happily. I guess Rupert's still a pretty famous retired boxer. Did not know that he was that popular. And I want to know how Meredith got here and why is she bragging about it to everyone? I sat next to Volta in our class and we opened up our monitors.
I sat there staring off into space as our professor kept blabbing on about the government and how we should be a socialist government and not a "dystopia" government. I really think he doesn't know what dystopia actually is, nor what he's talking about. Volta then nudged me and pointed at her monitor. I looked over at it and it said, "I have an idea."
I looked at her with my chin still rested on my hand and nodded. She then typed, "We should look at Rupert's personal files if we want to figure out his actual last name and possibly some of his history." I nodded and stuck my thumb up. Then a book came flying to my head and hit the side of it. "Kinetta! Stop trying to distract Volta Terra! If I have to tell you again, I'll ask you to take your belongings and take the day off!" our professor yelled at me.
The class looked up at me and chuckled a bit, including Volta herself. Why does he have to call me out out of all the others who are talking and not paying attention? Well it's like he said, I'm his "favourite."
