July 10th, 2671 A.D. 7:01 AM. Briefing room.

Everyone stood around the table with a map of the entire Malzaheimer Manor. Rupert cleared his throat and leaned against the table with his hands. "So, from what I picked up while I was fleeing from the manor, I overheard some of the AST soldiers saying that they will be calling off the searches and will be stationed there at 7 PM. We have two ways of doing this. One, we go back to the manor at 3 PM and get to Kinetta's ship, rewrite the drive, and get ourselves going to Elyssia. Two, we do the same thing but we wait until Volta calls off the searches. This will make it easier for us not having to worry about the guards moving around erratically. However, there might be more than usual if we were to do it at that time."

He then explained to us that we apparently installed a part in the ship that would completely obliterate the ship and the manor if we were to ignite the engines. That also explains why Volta told me I needed lots of kinetic energy. "Era will be the main package to get to the ship first and override the self-destruct sequence since I had her install the program onto her device. This mission requires stealth, quick thinking, and nimbleness. Do not engage with any of the soldiers and DO NOT, I repeat, do not engage Volta. Our main objective is to escape this planet and get to Elyssia." We all nodded. Ervin started to chew on his nails again. Meredith gripped both Alan and I's arms tightly. I began to have butterflies in my stomach as well staring at the map of the manor.

"So, what shall it be then? We approach at 3 PM or 7 PM?" Era looked at me and so did everyone else. Of course, I had to be the one to decide. "Well, if we were to go before the searches are called off, it does make it easier with the number of soldiers we might encounter. However, we do not know the soldiers' movements and risk getting caught easier. And knowing all of us, we're not specially trained to take on such a stealthy task either. Well, probably excluding Era since she does have field experience and excluding Rupert since he managed to find his way out without notice. They also might have found out about the secret paths around the manor so that option is out of the window." Everyone nodded. "So, I say we ready up at 5 PM, and we arrive there at 7:30 PM."

Rupert closed his eyes and nodded more. "Wise decision, Kinetta. Always thinking about the best option for the all of us. It is settled then, we meet back here at 5 PM, go over our approach route, and go from there. Everyone is dismissed." Meredith, Alan and Ervin left the room. Rupert went back to observing the map of the manor and Era remained leaning on the wall. I then sat on the couch and looked up at Rupert. "I suppose this is a good time to know more about my father before we go on this mission that might end our lives." Rupert looked up at me and raised his eyebrow. "You're right, my son. Bring Meredith back over here and I shall fill you in on what has happened between Elyssia and now."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rupert, Meredith and I sat at an old chapel in the French hideout. Rupert cleared is throat and crossed his legs and folded his hands together. "Ah, yes. Let's see, where to start..." He then started about when he disappeared from Meredith and Elanor. He apparently had to take charge of the Elyssian military as the revolt started to happen. During that time, Elanor was pregnant with me and Meredith was only turning eight Earth years old. He went off about how Earth's weapons were becoming far more superior to the Elyssian weaponry, saying that anything that can pierce through our metals would destroy what we had and our battle armor.

When he had family leave time, he then came back to the family only learning that Elanor had passed when she gave birth to me and Meredith had just sent me away when I was only four Earth years old.  He then appointed a new leader to take over his spot and vanished from Elyssia, coming to Earth in search for me. He found where my pod landed in Mizra and then took me to an orphanage for me to be taken care of. I then grew up and became a troublesome child to the orphanage and was kicked out into the streets. He apparently visited often and left food for me without me seeing him which was why I was always the lucky one getting a loaf of bread and meat whenever I scavenged for food with the other homeless kids.
