Spoken work it's just words that are spoken
They speak until your brain is awoken
They make U laugh until you're choken
Or they'll leave U to feel heart broken
you know the saying "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"
Well that's a lie
Because words have the power to build us up
Or leave us to die
It is was the first grade when I heard these words
From the lips of my teacher
To this day I wonder if reality ever reached her
Well maybe someone should teacher
Sorry I'll say that again
Maybe someone should teach her
Like the school kids taught me
By taking their words and breaking every bone in my body
My friends
To me were always nice
Because they understand
"Freedom of speech"
Comes with a price
But the words we speak are always free
We are paid in the smiles that we get to see
Without them I'd be nothing
Because before I speak
I would start to freak
That I'm what everyone doesn't seek
*sigh* sorry if I'm wasting your time with these spoken words
But this time they needed to be heard
Spoken word aren't just words that are spoken
They are true
Freedom of speech
True power
True emotion
They've given me everything I have
Leaving my fears to coware
