Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven: Eternally Sleeping

Uzumaki had over used his chakra and was left back at Tazuna's house with Tsunami. Meanwhile Hatake-sensei, Haruno, Uchiha, Rin('s clone) and I were to head to the bridge. The only thing is when we got there all of the workers had been knocked out.

Now we battle in the mist to protect the bridge builder, Rin's clone taking this as an opportunity to disappear to relay all that has happened while she was in Rin's stead.

Uchiha was trapped in an barricade of ice mirrors and Hatake-sensei was fighting off Momochi Zabuza. At least he was able to awaken his Sharingan during this fight. "Ren! Do something!" Haruno shouted. "Do something or Sasuke is going to die! Please!"

I sighed quite audibly. "I think that's enough, Zabuza. Haku." I called out loud enough for everyone to hear over the sounds of battle. "Rin get out here, our goals are reached for now."

As if on cue, Rin emerged and the mist began to clear with each step she took. "You're no fun, Ren-nii." A struggling sound was heard behind her and it was for good reason. Right behind her was two clones, one of my self and the other of her, holding down a short old man who I can assume is the moron in charge of all the chaos happening on this island. Gatō.

I walked over to my little twin and ruffled her hair as Zabuza and Haku walked over to stand next to Rin. "What is the meaning of this?" The little midget questioned.

"Oh well you see these two." Rin gestured to the mercenaries to her right. "Don't work for you anymore. They're with me and Ren-nii."

Team seven had been quietly watching in shock while our conversation transpired. "Wh-what do you mean? Zabuza? Whatever these two brats are paying you I can double it! Triple it!"

"Ah. Ah. Ah..." Rin taunted as she ticked her finger back and forth. "I never said that they worked for Ren-nii and I. I said that their with us now. Money isn't what binds us."

"Bonds builton money eventually crash and shatter." I added coldly.

"I don't work for kids, but it seems these two and I have the same goal, so I'm sticking with them from now on." Zabuza used our shoulders to rest his arms over.

Haku simply nodded as he took off his mask. "Your contract with us has been terminated for a while now." He looked at the old man. "But you still have a sentence of an execution."

Zabuza looked down at Rin and I as he moved to grab his sword. "Shall I?"

Rin and I shared a look before nodded. "Have fun." Rin said.

"We don't mind." I added.

We both turned to Hatake-sensei as Zabuza ended Gatō. "Hatake-sensei, these two will be joining us back to the Leaf from now on." We said in unison.

"What?!" Haruno shouted as she held Uchiha up on his feet.

Hatake was confused and narrowed his eye at us. "And why is that?"

"They're not bad people." Rin statted.

I spoke up next. "They only did all that they did out of blinded rage and desperation."

"Besides..."

We both looked him in the eye with serious looks. "Zabuza is our uncle."

Before anyone could react, a voice shouted from behind us. "HA HA HA HA! Never fear! Uzumaki Naruto is here! And-wait what's going on here?" The Leaf's number one knucklehead has finally appeared. "Uh... what'd I miss?"
