Cover Yourself Up

I run downstairs before Austin can stop me. "I got it!" I tell even though there are only three people in the house. Before I get to the door I slip on the rug in the entrance. I shriek and land on my butt. "Owwie," I mumble to myself. I get up and dust my butt.

I open the door and find Alex and Gabby. Gabby looks in a daze and her face is glowing. It's only 12:45 and her face is already glowing. What could have possibly happened?

Unless...

I gasp. No...

"You guys scared the poop out of me!" I say. They look at me, confused. "What do you mean?" Speaks Alex. I'll have to talk to him later.

"I thought it was Karyn!" They look at me as if I had grown two heads. I roll my eyes. "Her boyfriend is in the living room," I motion with my head. Their eyes widen. "What?!" They shriek in unison. "Shh," I pull them in.

We go up the stairs and make it to my room. Austin was currently Lyon on the bed, face up without a shirt. "Austin, why aren't you wearing a shirt?" Asks Alex. I blush and he says, "it was getting hot in here," shrugging. He looks at me and winks. My cheeks turn into every color and settle in crimson. I decide to change the subject, but gabby beats me to it.

"Why is your ex sitting on your couch?" She scolds. I back away slowly from her face. "He's drunk."

She stares. "And I called Karyn to come pick him up."

"So why does it look like you were crying?" She insinuates. I freeze. She noticed? I was hoping she wouldn't. I give her the 'I'll tell you later' look. She gets the message and says, "You have a hair in your eye," an pretends to be wiping my eye. Lame excuse to make it seem like I wasn't.

"So..." I say awkwardly. "Why is your skin glowing, Gabbs?" I smirk. She blushes and so does Alex. I was hoping that they didnt do what I thought they did... and what most kids do these days...

"What you guys didn't..." I trail off. They look at each other, she leans in, resting her head on his shoulder. He wraps an arm around her waist, as they both nod. I look at Austin and see his mouth is agape. I look back at then and start squealing. "Oh my god!!!!!" I knew it!!! I knew it was gonna happen!"

She look surprised at my actions but I can't help it I steal Gabby from Alex and drag across my room, away from the boys. "How did this happen? When did it happen? Did you like it? You better have used protection," I shower her with questions, and throw in the last part just in case. Her eyes widen at all the questions, but she quickly blushes. She looks at Alex who is now talking Austin who seems to be so ecstatic about it, too.

"It happened a little while after you guys left us alone. We stopped before Mendez had arrived, it was perfect, and yes we did use protection," she finishes, smiling shyly. I squeal again. "I'm gonna ask you for details later, but for now..." I trail off, not sure if I should ask this question, but if I don't do it, who will? "Does..." I breath. "What about Sarah?" I rephrase the question I was going to say. Her face pales and tears form in her eyes.

"I don't know. Alex hasn't ended it with her. What am I supposed to do?" She whimpers. I sigh. It had to be Alex. "Come here," I mumble to her and walk to the boys.

I walk up to Alex who was smiling and blushing like an idiot. "Alex?" I say, cutting into his conversation with Austin. He stops talking and looks at me with a puppy smile. "What about Sarah?" I breath. His eyes widen, and his face pales. He breathes, then sighs, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know," he mumbles. I look at Austin and he's running his chin.

"So while all that happened you didn't think about Sarah... or how she would feel if she figured this out?" He asks, thinking out loud. They both shake their head and look at each other. Their eyes mirror both worry and fear. Worried because they know how she'll react, and fear of what she'll do.

"Well... what are you going to do?"I ask them. They shrug. I look at Austin and find that he's already looking at me. "That's a problem for another day," says Austin adapter a long gaze. "Don't worry guys we'll figure something out."

A pregnant silence develops, but Alex brakes it after a few short minutes. "Enough about us..." he trails off. "Why was Austin without a shirt, and why are you with it?" He smirks. I blush instantly and look away. I see Austin do the same, as we both look down to our feet, as if its the most interesting thing.

"So?" Asks Gabby. "We told you what we did now tell us what you did?"

Austin is the first to lift his head up, then me. "Um... We... Um... kissed?" I answered, shyly. I look at Austin when they lift one eyebrow. He clears his throat. "Um... We made out, before that idiot ruined it," he motions towards Matt downstairs. I laugh. "And he wouldn't let me go," I mumbled. "Ooh!!" They coo in unison.

The bell rings, and I sigh. Austin starts clenching and unclenching his fists. "I'll be right back," I hint, hoping that someone will follow me. When I realize that nobody did I call Austin. "Godzilla, you wanna help me deliver the monster?" I yell. I hear him grunt followed by footsteps. He sees me and relaxes a little. We go down the stairs, and he blurts, "You look good in my shirt." I smile and blush. We make it to the door, and I tell Austin, "Being the Idiot." He laughs and does as instructed. I open the door and see a furious Karyn. She gets even more furious when she looks me up and down.

"Where is he?" She scolds. I pick up one finger, saying 'one moment' and call Austin. "Godzilla!" He stumbles into the room with a slurring Matt. The look on Austin's face makes me laugh. It's between an anger and suffocation face. "He can't be that heavy?"

He shakes his head. "Not that he's heavy, he stinks." He drags Matt towards Karyn dumping him on her. "Hey, Karyn. Wanna have do something when we get home?" He says, trying to sound seducing but coming out in a threatening way. Her cheeks flush and she says, "Um thanks. I guess."

I smile. "No problem." The sweet Karyn I used to know disappears and the traitor one returns. "Cover yourself up. You look like a slut."

I chuckle. "Actually, she looks hot," says Matt. I look at Karyn and she looks furious. Me on the other hand, blush, and quickly close the door.

I take deep breaths and look at Austin. The look on his face told me he was not happy.

So I updated twice and I know you guys loved it. Sorry if its boring, AND THAT I LEFT YOU A CLIFFHANGER! but its all good. It's probably short, but it managed.
