Got Me In Chains

Chapter 12

Leorio woke up early the next day to go to work at the hospitals. Although it was hard for him to get Kurapika off of him. As the night went through last night, Kurapika's position changed. He was no longer sleeping on the bed, but on Leorio.

Leorio didn't awaken the peaceful blonde as he slept, but he had to work. He carefully lifted him off of his body, pulling the blanket over his body. "I'll miss you..." he whispered, kissing his cheek. The doctor did not take a shower in the morning because it was so early, deciding to take a night shower later.

After the adult got dressed, he quickly made his own breakfast and left the house. He didn't want to leave Kurapika alone, but he didn't really have a choice. He got in his car, driving off to the hospitals and checking out the LoveForAll first.

Another hour and so, Kurapika awakened. He sat up on the bed and rubbed his eyes, then stretching his arms. "Leorio?" He noticed his lover was gone, then frowned as he remembered why. "Sometimes I wish you weren't a doctor." He stood up, walking out of the room.

The blonde walked into the kitchen to make himself breakfast. Once he was done he began to eat, looking down at the necklace and then the shirt. It made him miss Leorio even more. "He really needs more workers..."

Soon the Kurta finished his breakfast, cleaning the dishes. He walked into the living room, picking up a picture frame and looking at the picture of him and Leorio. "I miss you..." he frowned.

Then he sensed people. More than 3. He turned his head, his eyes widening from the bullet coming straight at him. Kurapika quickly moved his head to the left, dodging the bullet but it was close.

Police officers came running inside, circling Kurapika and pointing their guns at him. "Kurapika Kurta, you are coming with us. Now put your hands up!"

Kurapika didn't hesitate. The Chains formed on his hand down to his arm, but he was threatened.

"Use your Chains on any of us, and we will destroy those hospitals, and Leorio with them." Another officer said.

Kurapika's eyes widened, the nightmare of Leorio coming back in his head. Phantom Troupe or Police Officers, he wouldn't let anyone kill his Leorio. "Shut up..you're bluffing...." his grayish blue eyes glowed scarlet, glaring at the officer. "You will never eliminate someone who helps the world! Leorio saves lives more than you people!"

"Kurapika Kurta, you have 10 seconds to put your hands up, or we will kill you first." The first officer said.

A tear rolled down his cheek, his chains disappearing. Kurapika didn't want to give up, but he had no choice for now. He slowly put his arms up, turning his head to the side. "Who...told you to come after me?"

"That would be me." Said a male, walking inside the home with a smirk. "You couldn't find me yesterday. Only if your sweet little Leorio let you kill me yesterday. You killed my brother. You will pay. The Death Penalty is on you..."

"I don't agree with this!" Kurapika shouted out, a police officer coming up behind him. He tapped his eyes and mouth shut, using handcuffs to keep his arms behind his back.

"Try to make one more sound, and we will kill you." The police chief said, grabbing Kurapika by his hair and dragging him into his police car outside and driving off to a jail cell nearby their station.

Kurapika was put in a cell, his mouth still covered and his hands cuffed. Although they took the tape off his beautiful scarlet eyes. The blonde sat on the cold floor alone, leaning his back against the wall. All he could think about was Leorio. Would they have really killed him? And destoryed the buildings? No, he didn't think so. He thought himself would probably die.
