Goodbye Mom:

I stood behind the camera and smiled at Luke. I gave him a thumbs up and he smiles at me. He wanted me to watch him make his second YouTube video for his channel. I obviously agreed in seconds. Now I stood off to the side watching him get ready.

"Don't mess me up now!" He says, pointing a finger at me.I put my hands up in defense, "I promise I won't!" I sat down and watched him carefully as he got himself ready by taking a few deep breaths. He started the video and brushed some of his hair down onto his forehead.

Once he began to sing he got so caught up in the song it gave me chills. I covered my mouth with my hand so that he wouldn't begin laughing and mess up, he kept looking down to the other side of the room. Probably trying to not giggle when he looked at me which is highly understandable. My favorite part of the song came up and he sung it with so much pride I couldn't stop smiling.

Let's write a song that we can sing to
And you can lead the choir
And put the hook where it hurts most

I don't know why that was my favorite but it just was. Right as he finishes the song he stopped the recording and cleared his throat. "That was so good!!" I jump into his lap when he put his guitar down. "You think?" He asks. "I know!" I Nodded. He put a hand on my leg and the other on my lower back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his nose. "You need to upload that tonight!" I tell him, He nodded and went to YouTube. He typed away for a few minutes and then leaned back, "There. it's uploaded." I took my phone out and go to YouTube. "What are you doing?" Luke asks me.

"I want to be the first to give it a thumbs up!" He chuckled at me and kisses my temple, "You're so cute." He mumbles. I gave it a thumbs up and commented, 'You're so cute ;) I can't wait for MSG.' I locked my phone and looked back up at him, "You should refresh your comments." He gave a confused face and refreshed the page and scrolled down to the comments.

He read my comment and laughed to himself. "You are so sure about Madison Square Garden aren't you?" He asks. "I am positive, and I am going to do all I can to make sure you get there some day." I kissed his cheek and got up. He got up with me and I took his hand bringing him upstairs with me.

Maya and Jaxon went with Liz to an amusement park, but they should be back any minute. So to pass the time Luke and I sat on the couch facing each other eating out of a tub of ice cream. I love these moments where we just sit together and talk about anything and everything. It's when we tell each other little secrets about ourselves or things we want to do when we get older.

"I want to make music. I want to be able to make people happy with my music and put a smile on peoples faces. I love performing and I want to do more of it in the future." Luke says, intertwining our fingers together. "I want to see that so much." I tell him. "You'll always be with me." He smiles, I nodded. "Well not on stage, That would be too many people. I could not handle that!" I say, trying to get through to him that I so not have the stage presence to do that.

"And I can handle it with my awkwardness?" Luke asks, I laughed at him and leaned back on the couch. "You have much more stage presence than me!" "I-." Luke was cut off by Maya screaming through the house. "Auddie!!! Auddie look what Mrs. Liz got me!!!!" She runs in and bumps into me. She showed me her pink penguin stuffed animal that was almost as tall as her.

I gasp at her, "Oh. My. God! Where did you get that! I want one! Do you think I could get one?" I ask Maya. She giggles at me and shakes her head. "It was the last one! Mrs. Liz spent almost an hour playing a game for it!!" I widen my eyes at her, "Wow! Did you make sure to say thank you afterwords?" I ask her. She nodded.
